Just happened tom find another incident where a poor young woman was raped and robbed in Baltimore at the protest. The OWS "security" didn't do anything to help her. She's calling the protest dangerous and asking that it be shut down as it has in other cities. The footage includes evidence of narcotics abuse by these protestors as well. Nice people!

Hey, I've got a solution for the pigs on the left at the OWS camps. They can just have an abortion tent for the women they defile and rape. They practice that already.

They don't need official cops why should they have official doctors? Coat hangers anyone?

There's no doubt that homeless people (and their public crimes) and others who struggle with addiction are a feature of some of the Occupations.

I wish we had better answers for the problems of homelessness and addiction. It's tough stuff, though, isn't it? Makes you wish for a simple solution....

But change comes in many forms: if OWS were to end tomorrow, crushed by the repressive system it seeks to overturn, and every occupier went back to their respective cities and states, they would still be left with the knowledge that they can shape society. There are alternative methods of organizing, interacting, and engaging with the people around you, and if each occupier takes even a fraction of the passion, energy and knowledge they gained in Liberty Park back to their own communities, then the movement will not have failed: the people of the United States will realize their ability to shape their own society. Maybe then the devastatingly unequal, corporatist society they live in will die the slow death of irrelevancy, instead of the quick death of revolution.

Oh no i know that there is a percentage leaving because they are OWSers. I also think the vast majority are hearing the news programs speak of credit unions, they are hearing the radio and television ads for fee free checking accounts with local banks and they are moving. But to say that OWS precipitated the event is ridiculous. It wasn't OWS making headlines of outrage at the fee increase. it was average folks who had had enough and smaller banks looking to grow off of BOA's misfortune. Or rather it was capitalism.
