we have begun taking our nation back. Now that we have overturned some of the laws that they tried to ram down our throats without our permission, it will be time for americans to get rid of the fools that made the refferendums even nesessary.

Bye bye Scott Walker... he will fall and when he does? his recall will be on the nov 12 ballot, and it will drive the voters that hate him to the polls. Obama will once again be handed a state... Wisconsin will not be in play for the GOP to take for the presidential run.

There was no violence.

Drug-head. Police in Portland have reported that scores of homeless have moved into the camp and drug users and dealers are using them for cover. This guy's behavior is basic druggie, getting fixated on an idea and coming up with one set of words that gets used over and over because there's little actual understand.

I noticed that some real Occupiers showed up to try to steer him away, with little success until the end. This is where the suggestion that Occupiers just turn the criminals and misbehaving among them over to the cops.

I would have liked to have been there. Someone should have stepped between him and the reporters; I've done that enough as a lifeguard. In this case it would be best done with two allies -- step in as they come up from the sides, lock arms, and just keep the guy away while calming him down.

It was predictable that the camp would attract some of the worst elements.

It's always been hard for most people to tell the difference between them and the fleabaggers.

Zoltan you are being less than genuine. The man pushed his way past the photographer and the grip multiple times.

As soon as he placed his hands on the other folks who were legally standing there he violated their rights.

What bothered me the most was his completely accepted disregard for the police officer that showed up. When the police are inured to the point that they allow mentally disturbed people to yell into their faces then escalation is not far behind.

I will grant that many OWS folks appeared to try and dissuade the idiot from continuing his drug addled tirade. Yet they were much less likely to actually stop the guy.

I know I would be called a violent whatever the fuck from most on here but when that idiot pushed me and then slapped my hand away he would have been on his back. Oh and guess what? I would have won in court.

I still remain amused at the speaking in tongues guy.

But I can agree that this does not represent the thinking and intelligent minds that are the so called 99%. However they do themselves no justice by demanding a new form of governance based on their model but being unable to manage simple miscreants in their own ranks.

I wonder why idiots don't run around grabbing and touching and yelling in peoples faces at teaparty rallies? Weird.

Jack, I lived in PDX for several years and travel there often.

It's a typical day at the park in downtown Portland. Those people are always there.

Once the rains start - - they move south back to Cali.

There's no dispute that his behavior was violent. I'm sure I can make you feel in imminent danger of physical violence by simply getting up in your grill and behaving like a raving lunatic like our pal did in this video. Never mind him putting his hands on people.

In fact, if you were to pop somebody engaging in such threatening behavior, you'd be within your rights. He identified himself as one of the 99% about a dozen times. Since the standard for membership is nothing more than to claim to be a member, he's a member. I do like the new tactic of claiming those who they don't like are part of the 1%. The media, the cops, anybody who questions them.

Instead of getting people to agree with some of what they have to say, they are beginning to drive people from them when you see this uptick in violence and other strange behavior. Their 15 minutes have been up for a while. If they were smart, move on from this siege and plan for the big confab their planning for next year. They've got a few legitimate issues. But they are turning people off with this freakshow.

the issues are bigger than the smallmess of the things to make these people look bad.

The GOP has overreached. It overreaches with this pathetic desire to vilify anyone that disagrees with them, and it overreaches when it takes the rights from the people and gives the golden cash cow to the corporations.

Last night that overreach began to end.

Kusich was visibly shaken last night and he said he had heard the people and had alot to reconsider.

The problem is that the videos don't lie. The guy is what he is. A violent, apparently drug addled moron. The stories about women being raped are resulting in arrests being made. There is no dispute that the conditions these protestors have created are disgusting. It's what happens when you and several hundred of your friends decide to set up camp in a park. There's no evading that reality.

Yes, I saw the polls. I saw every legislator in NJ who did exactly what was done in Ohio re-elected. So what?

Ultimately the OWS gang needs to get their shit together and soon. The general idea that they're mad at government being too cozy with corporate America is one most people would agree with. The message is being lost by the bad behavior and filth. Now if they intend to hang out and inconvenience people who are doing nothing more than trying to live their lives, their welcome will be short lived. Blocking streets without having permits to do so and obstructing the free passage of other citizens for fun, isn't going to go on for much longer. Nor is the violence they have visited on cities like Oakland going to be countenanced for very much longer.
