You'll be taken care of
You'll be given love
You have to trust it

Maybe not from the sources
You have poured yours
Maybe not from the directions
You are staring at

Twist your head around
It's all around you
All is full of love
All around you

All is full of love
You just ain't receiving
All is full of love
Your phone is off the hook
All is full of love
Your doors are all shut
All is full of love!
be the little angel

All is full of love, all is full of love
All is full of love, all is full of love ...

It's an album by an established artist in tribute to a deceased former band member. That might nudge them into the winner's cirle.

I'm dreading it already. But at least in that case I get to see Taylor Branch cry.

It'd be funny if Dave Matthews won it, and during their acceptance speech, Kanye West took the mic away to point out that Taylor Swift put out one of the best albums of all time. Of all time.

...and on that note, I'm putting the Grammys to bed. I got some new CDs the last few days, and they're amazing, and presumably not Grammy nominated (at least in any category anyone cares about). Anyone heard the Ali Farka Toure / Toumani Diabete collaboration? It's really cool.

No it wont be a weave wash out because alot of the 10 nominations weave got were fraudulent.

How on earth does Single Ladies showcase superb vocals? yet it gets a female vocal nomination?

Album of the year is another joke.

Song of the year? Single Ladies? This was the best written song of the year? Seriously?

Halo damn sure was NOT the record of the year.

But i do want Taylor to win a couple. She desperately wants a Grammy and has made no secret about it.

How come Silversun Pickups are still eligible for Best New Artist?

They had an EP out in 2005, and the full length CD Carnavas in 2007 gave us the modern rock/mainstream rock airplay hit Lazy Eye. They're hardly new.

I don't understand why Beyonce's "Halo" is getting so much love from the Grammy's. It's not a bad song, but it's not that great of a song either.

>>>How come Silversun Pickups are still eligible for Best New Artist?

For the same reason Fountains of Wayne were nominated for best new artist after putting out their third album, a full four years after "Radiation Vibe" hit both the modern rock AND pop charts. People don't feel the need to do research. :)

Wow, its really hard to choose who's gonna win these awards. I think Beyonce submitting Halo instead of Single Ladies seem like a better choice lyrically and all that. I love Beyonce's music, but lets be real. Is I Am...Sasha Fierce really worth the same amount of grammys as the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Oops.Taylor Swift just better not win them all. But I think she'll win a couple but the Grammy's never been a popularity contest. I just can't get over how Taylor Swift can hop in both Pop and Country, i mean pick one. But i'm gonna go off if Lady Gaga or Maxwell don't win a grammy. Since when is "Blame It" an R&B song. I'm a little upset that Chrisette Michele got snubbed by the Grammys, her album was good.

WOW,...I just viewed the Nominations list and Whitney was SHUT-OUT..I Know Clive Davis had to have a stiff drink this'murnin...I need one my Damn-self...

And no rules were changed to place GaGa in the "best New Artist" category...

Did you guys see the people they nominated in the category? I Looked at the list twice and no one looks familiar..Where did they round up those no-name "Best new Artist" contendors?

I'm THRILLED Maxwell got major propers this time around..."Pretty Wings" is my JAM...A beautiful ballad and I hope he wins "Song of the year"....

The music or voice weren't deserving, only the story.

No matter what one thinks of this years nominees, the award is not for "Best Popular New Artist" or " Best Well known New Artist".

Name 1 "Best New Artist" winner over the last 10yrs that did NOT have at least one song that music lovers heard a few times on the radio?

You won't be able to...

You won't be able to...

I've heard most of the nominees in the category before last tonight.

Worst Grammy Nominations I've ever seen.

A little disappointed that Daughtry didn't get nominated for anything. Their album, released in July, is amazing.

Isn't that what people say when their favorites aren't nominated?

Enjoy whatever music you like.

Halo was actually a big hit. Maybe thats why, not as big as Single Ladies though. The song it self charted for almost an entire year and sold millions. ..| Maybe thats why

:goodluck to all that got nominated

Grammy Reactions:

Following Whitney Houston’s omission from nominations for this year's Grammy Awards, the following are reactions from both Whitney's record label and industry news leader Billboard Magazine --

From The New York Times...

… "There are always some prominent names shut out. One of the more conspicuous this year was Whitney Houston, whose comeback album, "I Look to You" (Arista), was released on the last day of Grammy eligibility, Aug. 31. "Considering the level of critical acclaim the album received and the sales to date, one million in the U.S. and two million worldwide, we’re surprised," said Mika El-Baz, a spokeswoman for the label.

From The Christian Science Monitor...

"Despite the love directed at the industry's divas, there were some unexpected omissions, points out Billboard editorial director Bill Werde, who says he was surprised that Whitney Houston was overlooked. "The Grammy voters usually pay attention to the whole trajectory of a career," he says, adding that in this case, Houston's comeback album was not just good, but had a couple of what he considers great songs, as well as being a remarkable return for a major artist."

Billboard Grammy Poll Results:

Billboard.com also commented about Whitney Houston's missing Grammy nominations when it reported the results of its Grammy nominations reader poll. In the poll, Whitney received 865 votes for Album of The Year, making the top 5 list of those eligible to be nominated, even though her album had to be written in as a suggestion to even be included in the poll. When it reported the poll results, Billboard wrote: "Just like Billboard.com readers, we thought Whitney Houston was a shoe-in for multiple Grammy nominations for her much-heralded -- and much-loved -- return to music 'I Look To You.' Instead, the Grammy voters delivered what may be the greatest snub of all."
