i love micah and molly. the cutest kids. i'm pissed they killed DL i loved his power.

hiro in japan is boring and why is takezo a white guy who speaks american english? so stupid.

peter in ireland lame as hell. he has no idea who he is but has access to all his powers. and the girl he's making out with is ugly.
too many storylines. they needa get rid of sylar already.

since i tivo'd the show. i ended up watching only like 10min it was so boring

Has anyone else ever noticed how strange it is that Claire has multiple piercings in her ears? This week on the beach, I saw she had both ear lobes and at least one cartilage piercing.

Based on what we've seen on the show, shouldn't her body have pushed out the earrings and healed the piercing immediately? Even if she were able to keep the earrings in and have the piercing heal around them (like normal people do, but it usually takes a month...), wouldn't they close up the second she took the earrings out?

It's not important, I know, but it's always bugged me.

this episode was sort of 'meh' for me. everything that happened with maya, her brother and you know who was almost expected (well, after they found you know who).

I liked this episode, though mainly just the introduction of Monica. I liked the absence of Hiro's boring story, though I missed Peter's just a little bit. Like I said, I am the Monica/New Orleans storyline-and I must say that I love her power. Photographic Reflexes seem pretty awesome now. And who wouldn't want to be able to make rose tomatoes? lol.

But Claire/West still bores me; Nathan redeemed his loser self to me; I like how no one refers to Bob as anything other than Bob; I felt sorry for Angela; Maya Y Alejandro disappointed me-why couldn't they just leave him dead; And hooray for Kirsten Bell coming in the next episode!

Whoa fricking intense tonight. Really good episode.


The New Orleans storyline is my favorite and i love Monica already. She is super awesome, i connected with her already. Its great that the show is dealing with Katrina and its after effects. The show is so global, they are going to Ukraine next.


I love Monica tonnes but i guess Claire is still my favorite superhero, which is why it saddens me that she is lieing to her father? Why Claire why?

Mica had a great one liner too when he said, "i wish i could fix your dreams."


Monica had a good one liner too when she said, " on TV."


That scene where flyboy caught Claire was so magical and breathtaking.


Mohinder was a tad bitchy to Matt.

I like Maya even thought her "power" disgusts me.

It's bad enough that they continue to write Hiro as a pokemon who throws up his hands and says "Yippee!" at every opportunity, but now he's saddled with that tired old chestnut of helping the englishman be a better man. I think making Kensei a white guy was a cop out personally. Much as I've admired the diversity of the show, by Season 2 it's become clear that they've missed a lot of opportunities to develop the non-white characters beyond their initial two dimensional portrayals (this includes of course the still nameless Haitian and the now apparently deceased ex-con DL).

Thank you. why can't they make an asian man act like an adult instead of a ten-year-old. and i think your onto something about the non-white characters. how can D.L. be dead when Matt was shot like 3 times fell out of a window then survived. Nathan and Peter both survived a nuclear explosion. Sylar got beat up by everyone then stabbed through the chest. All these fools are alive. But D.L. who was alive in the finale unlike sylar is dead. and kensei shoulda just been a hot asian guy. but no they have to make him white and speakin american english

I've been wondering that, too. Every episode with Claire and a cheerleader I think, that must be her. And then it's not.


And I think that the guy who plays DL did something so they didn't sign him on for a new season; and what better way to write someone off of a show than killing them?

They add different cultures and minorities to get a wider audience.

Hiro: out of all the Asians, Japanese people are the weirdest of the bunch and there are people like Hiro. Even many Japanese people will admit it. Look at their game shows and some of the video games and you'll wonder how they ever come up with that stuff. They're a fun group of people though. I think Hiro was funny most of the time last season. They just gave him a very bad storyline this season. I think Kensei was white so they had a reason not to use subtitles 100% of the time.

DL was never a main character, just a supporting character to Nikki like Ando is to Hiro. The other suvivors were all main characters. I don't think they portrayed DL in a bad way and they encouraged acceptance of interracial couples. Also, they have Monica now as a new black main character.

i don't know if its fair to say japanese people are the weirdest bunch. i agree i do know adult asian men who act like that. but there are just as many white men who act like kids and play video games all day. most asian men act like grown men and not like children. he's such a cliche of the asian dork. why can't they ever have a sexy asian guy like peter, mohinder, DL, sylar, nathan, isaac or every other guy on the show.

u may have a point about the not having to use subtitles. they shoulda scrapped this stupid storyline altogether.i don't know one person that likes it.

i think DL was a main character last season, not a guest star. and monica seems expendable to me. i don't see her lasting this entire season

I was sick yesterday so I didn't pay absolute attention to the show like I usually do. But I did watch and enjoyed a lot that happened. I'm wondering what Sylar has planned and seeing him travel with Maya and Alejandro, plus He looked hot in the black tank top. I just started liking West a lot more this episode, and because of the painting his and the Bennets storyline has drawn me in much more this ep. Matt's father being the major baddie was a surprise and the fact that he seems to have captured Molly in some way was a fascinating development, I also like seeing their domestic lifestyle. Lastly I really like what I see of Monica so far, easily my favorite new Hero of the season.

I like Monica's powers, it's something new this season. They gave West flying which Nathan already has, Kensei healing which Claire already has and Maya's storyline with her uncontrolable powers killing people is just like Nikki's last season. What sucks though is that now we'll have to see Micah all season and I agree that his acting is annoying. Also it sucks that I don't think Nikki will be in this season that much. I loved her crazy Jessica psycho rampages she went on last season.

The twin storyline is finally changing, It was a good idea to merge Sylar's storyline with theirs. 3 serial killers on the loose. Well not Alehandro (how ever you spell it) but they think he is. Looks like it will get interesting even though it's sort of like what happened with Sylar/Mohinder last season. I think Maya will learn to control her powers and she's going to be the one who will be able to stop Matt's dad.

Matt/Mohinder's storyline is also finally picking up with Matt's dad capturing Molly through her mind. I think she will be in a coma until Matt's dad is defeated.

All 3 new heroes are girls, probably since they only had 2 last season. I don't really count Alehandro, he's like a supporting character to Maya and his powers only effect when Maya uses her powers.

The previews for next week with that Kristin Bell girl doesn't look that interesting. Why don't they just give Milo a new life as a stripper.

I think Micah is a very good actor and I'm happy they threw in a couple of black cast members , I really like his cousin you know the one who can copy anything she sees on tv. Glad the Hiro story wasnt on last night I'm getting really tired of the sub titles even with Maya and her brother. If you watch the previews for next it looks like Jessica will be back I saw her throw some one and I dont agree with Jessica not having a big story line she one the main people on the show.

Jessica is my fav hero, her story have a lot of potential, but somehow its just becoming annoying, i mean, the whole season 1 end and im not even sure what her ability its about!
maybe its cuz there are so much people in the cast, don't know, i just hope the jessica i saw in the first half of season 1º come back.

kinda same thing with molly, for some reason i really like her and i think she can become a good member of the cast, i hope see more of her in the next episodes.

So, this week's episode, it's just like last season, about 20 different storylines lol and they all get complicated. Sylar really is an annoying character to me. He's the lamest villain.

If he kills the twins, I'll be really pissed off..

I like the new girl, all in all, I like Season 2 so far.

I like Monica, she's my favorite newcomer with lines like "How am I gonna pregnant wearing this 2 shifts a day" and "on TV" haha funny funny plus she has a pretty sweet power

I could also do with more Niki/Jessica, until they explain why Jessica only gets the tattoo or they show Niki with the tattoo; I'm not satisfied with "Niki was just mental & her only power is super strength"

And was Micah hugging Monica for an extended time supposed to trigger her powers or what? Cuz its interesting that Micah fixed the cable & then Monica uses her ability from something she saw on the TV
I could handle less Hiro and Kensei in "feudal Japan", its just not doing much for me so far

Molly's a little annoying & kinda glad she's outta commission for a bit

West is fucking hot...so is Peter...so is Mohinder...so is Nathan, & Sylar, Ando, & the male twin haha

So many questions, and I'm hoping that Kristen Bell is a bad guy...anyone else?
