Official Heroes Season 2 part 1 thread

So Monica is pretty much Taskmaster? Which is actually kinda cool in a kinda lame way..But hey at least its not a repeat power like West (who is a total douche)

BTW for non comic geeks, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taskmaster

Anyway..this season is seriously disappointing me to no end..I hate the twins now, they are annoying, I am sick of Peter's Funtime in Ireland, Parkman and Mohinder just need to fuck and get it over with, and Sylar better do something awesome before he ships off to the U.S.S. Enterprise..

Why oh why cant LOST start now instead of Feb??

Just saw the commercial for "Kristen Bell joins the cast of Heroes." Woo-hoo! This is gonna be awesome!(!):gogirl::=D:

I agree that Peter in Ireland is nothing but bullshit filler. Nobody cares about his adventures abroad.

I am disappointed that they made the Man with the Eyes watching Molly out to be Matt's father. I was expecting something even more sinister than Syler that wasn't related to any one of the heroes. I don't know. It just comes off too contrived. We'll have to see what happens next week.

this show has a been a total snooze. i had a feeling that it was gonna be like this. just like lost it had a good first season and everyone involved started acting like they were part of the greatest show in the histroy of television. i knew they wouldnt live up to expectations. but i didn't think the show would be this boring.

kristen bell was interviewed saying her characters power has something to do with electricity and her name is elle. she says she's not really bad or good. btw i think there should be limits to peter power. being able to maintain everyone's power forever is kinda stupid.

I thought the girl throwing things was the new girl in Peter's storyline. I must've missed it.

You know what maybe your right I watched the preview again and I think it is the new girl not Jessica.](*,)

LOL, "and my mom, well dont get me started" yeah because she hasnt been fully explained yet.

Matts father can put people in their own worst nightmares.

Monica is so awesome. I have connected with her so quickly. The more screentime she gets the more i'm like Claire who? LOL

i wonder if monica can copy powers too, u know, after seeing someone fly, she can fly too.
i hate hiro to death. soo annoying, plus he is in this ancient japan, stuck with his stupid fairy tales lives.
but i was most exited bout this nathans mum&dad, linderman, charles devoux, etc. what they do? and what is hiros dad power? *cant wait*

"Monica can only do things within her physical limit. Now as an athletic 20 year old girl, there are a lot of things within her limit. But, no – if she saw Nathan fly, she couldn't fly. Monica will learn more about her ability over the next two episodes."

-"Heroes" writers/producers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite

And yeah, Monica has quickly become one of my favorite characters, and most definetely my favorite of the new group. Though Elle has jumped right into second; she fried Ricky. I laughed so hard at her conversation with her dad. I think her character has lived up to the hype. I liked the glimpse of Jessica, too. I don't know if Bob would rather be killed by her, or by Nightmare Man- who's powers are cool, but I don't really see how they could get that out of mind reading. But regardless, great episode-even with Hiro's storyline in it.

It was good episode and it was funny when new girl said, "what if i promise not to kill again" LOL

I get that Jessica probably told Mohinder where Mica is but how would Mohinder know that Monica was starting to realize her ability?

Monica opened the door and he knows all about her already? A scene is missing to connect the two.

Very good episode: we see Matt's father in action and we learned a little about what he can do, Monica's learning about her powers and already testing them, and we finally see Nikki in action even if just for a few seconds. Once again very good ep., probably my favorite yet.

another meh episode.

heroes, like lost, has lost it's damn way. after one successful season the writers decided to go completely apeshit instead of sticking to what made it popular to begin with.

it was still a jumbled mess even though the twins and claire were not featured. there was so much hype about kristen because she was amazing on veronica mars. she is completely underutilized in a show with so many primary characters and plots.

peter needs some damn limits to his powers. he can't still have isaac and everyone else powers. how ridiculous.

They kind of explained it. In the scene right before Jessica attacks, Bob was giving Mohinder information on the next person he was supposed to bring in. Bob said to bring her in.

Again, frustrating with the numerous amounts of storylines

-I want Molly to get better :(

-Who the fuck does Nathan keep seeing? Is it simply his burnt reflection, or something more to it?

-I hope nothing bad happens to Monica

-Kirsten Bell is a bitch! I like!! :)

-She killed the hot guy though!!! WTF?!?!

Ok. After the last two episodes I'm really hooked again (and what's not to love about that annoying Molly being in a coma!! *giggles*). It's still tedious watching Hiro play a supporting role in his own fairytale and watching Peter discover what he can do all over again, but I'm enjoying the other elements like Nightmare Man and Monica's developing story. Nice to see Niki hulk out too! I thought it was also interesting when Parkman's father hinted at how his powers could evolve.

Ok cool thx

I thought last night show was okay there is just to many dam storylines its like being in school again studing for test its really hard to keep up, and Hiro storyline is really boring.

I hope they get Hiro the fuck out of that time line. It is SOOO boring that I end up switching channels or fast forward it.

With the Hiro storyline, I know it probably leads to their geneology, but holy shit, can it not go any slower or any more ridiculous? We get it, Kensei goes and kills 1283718237123 Japanese samurai, ninja, farmer, or what have you to get the map pieces to save the father of the Japanese girl. Whoop-De-Doo. It has been the worst story line ever and it drags on and on. His story already had completion when he set Kensei in the righteous path. It feels like he stayed behind only because he has a hard-on for Kensei and wants to suck his cock. Ando must be jealous by now, no wonder he wanted to have the scrolls deciphered ASAP! That dirty cheating whore Hiro!

Same thing goes for Peter's story line. Let's get a move on already. The Ireland storyline did nothing for his story except pick up that girl. Talk about a waste of time since they have no chemistry together and it feels very sloppy in the sense that they could have done so much more with him having amnesia. How disappointing was it that his box didn't have anything interesting in it. It's like you expect a great Christmas gift in the box only to find a pile of poop in it. The storyline stinks.

The Claire story line is also very boring, but at least the painting alluded to something interesting...otherwise I could have cared less about her relationship with the flying boy.

I'm only speaking for myself but, the only story lines I've enjoyed are
1) Nightmare Man, Matt Parker, and the history of the former league of Super heroes (The 12)
2) Sylar (I'm wondering what he'll do with the twins) and his return to being his powerful bad self
3) Monica/Micah and their role in being the new new generation of Super Heroes. I like their gusto and naivety.

Is it me or did last year's story line had a much better flow to it. This season's writing seems to have dropped off significantly. By the 5th episode last year, I was totally hooked and intrigued. This year, I feel lost and confused.

Only watched up to the 4th episode. But isn't Monicas powers like Charlies from Season 1?

Initially i thought that too LOL

Charlie was cool. Although she was a bitch on UGLY BETTY lol.

who thinks mohinder and parkman are gonna get it on? i think they could possibly make out. especially when they are arguing
