Continuing the tradition of starting a new thread for every volume...

This is supposedly the volume that's going to save the show...here's hoping. I really enjoyed Villains and didn't understand all of the bitching about it, honestly. I thought it was great and I hope Fugitives is even better.

but, i still enjoy watching it and cant wait for this volume to come
 
Tonight's episode was flawless. I have nothing to complain about. That never happens. They so hired a new writing team. It was like watching a completely new show. The slow mo ending with the music was perfection.
 
I just turned it off 30 minutes into it. Could it be anymore boring?! Sylar has different parents....again. Who cares at this point? Claire wants to rebel, yawn. People are gonna argue how great it is but it isn't. Great 1st season and than they had no clue what to do. The 4400 suffered the same way. Now I need a nap. That was better than any sleeping pill.
 
I thought this was much better than the last volume's premier...no "over the top"-ness like that volume

I just wish they got a little more time to spend in day jobs...but I'm okay with this premise...as long as we get to see more Eternal Sidekick Ando (though a shirtless scene would be nice)....he could form the B-team of Heroes....since Peter and the chain gang are the X-Men...Ando, Daphne, etc could be X-Factor :p

hell...this was the first time I was okay with Mohinder (with clothes on that is)
 
Great premier! Sylar is awesome.

I love how this show is making me hate Nathan so much, that is what gets me hooked onto a show. I want Nathan to go down so bad.
 
I always thought Nathan was a dick from the beginning and these past seasons just proved it. Heroes has definitey returned to its roots.

I knew Peter was going to get his powers back, granted now he has to touch people to absorb powers. And I wander who's gonna survive the crash.

yeah..I'm glad they put the whole "Pete has to touch to get powers now"....cause that used to drive me up the wall trying to figure out how he got people powers since it seemed like he just had to be in the vicinity of others...but he didn't have everyone's powers

but I'm just suprised Mohinder still has his Flyhinder powers...of sorts....I hope they go into that later this season....preferably with his shirt off and all sweaty the whole episode :p

In the last episode of Villains, it showed Mohinder laying in a pool of the power-giving formula after Peter, Knox, and Flint destroyed all of it. He absorbed it through all of the sores on his body and he was shown healing. I guess we're supposed to assume it cured what his bad forumla fucked up and just left him with the super-strength.
 
Of course all the stars are gonna survive the crash. Plus from the previews you can see certain people are there. Not sure if Tracy survives even though you see Ali Larter because remember there is another sister named Barbara. But I am confused why Hiro was taken since he did lose his powers and as far as I remember he didnt get them back. He's pretty much useless now. Which is fine by me since I always hated his childish character. I say get rid of him. I actually found Ando kinda hot when he was on his own with the Ando-cycle.

yeah...I figured that...I was just hoping there was more to it ;)
 
The premiere episode wasn’t so great, especially Peter. However, the last fifteen minutes actually pulled me in. I’ve always been a fan of Nathan, Claire, and Sylar and have to say the scenes involving them were the most interesting about the episode. Glad to finally see Claire take an initiative and stop claiming and whining about wanting to take action. Sluggish start but I feel its going to get better.

So, are Peter's powers now restricted to just one power? It seems like he lost Mohinder's power when he touched Traci. Maybe that's there new solution to keep Peter's ever growing arsenal of powers in check.

How about Hiro? It looks like he lost all of his powers, I wonder if/when he will gain his original powers back or get it nerfed. I know a lot of people thought that his time traveling powers cheapened the show and created problems writing wise with Hiro being able to fix any problems by going back in time.

I thought the last 10 minutes rocked and am interested in that one captive that got sent out the plane. I'm sure that person either A) died or B) has a role in the present story line. All in all, it wasn't a half bad episode. I am, however, annoyed that they changed Peter from a nurse to a paramedic. It's another mistake that makes you wonder if the writing and plot progression will be half-assed.
 
As much as I hate Sylar and am tired of his never-ending storyline, I hate Nathan and his enforcers more. I'm glad Sylar was able to break free and kill all of them. It was one of his coolest displays of power.

I really miss Elle. I think it would have been awesome to see her as one of the people on the plane.

Thank you. I thought I was the only person who cant stand Sylar. Him just being unstoppable and just killing everybody and taking their powers is so tired. Now all of a sudden "I needa find my birth father." What difference does it make? You are a psycho, serial killer. How is finding your birth father gonna fix anything? But him kicking ass was a highlight of the premiere.

I also miss Elle. But she's not coming back. I miss Meredith as well. I liked how she and Tracy have a history with Nathan and their powers were opposites. Heroes kills off the likable characters (Monica, Meredith, Elle, Eden) but keeps annoying ones (Hiro, Claire) around forever.

Hereos was one of my fav show ever... not anymore...

Some characters are so annying after 3 seasons like Hiro, Ando or Sylar
They killed off Jessica / nikki to introduce tracy that was also a bad idea...

the problem I have now... is that I don't like the characters anymore...

I liked Nathan but why suddenly its the villain
Mohinder as a taxi driver doesnt make sense either why keeping him around if hes not usefull ?

well, i still like the show, but, I dont like the direction its taking

I honestly think Heroes was a one season show... the first season was mind blowing, amazing, wonderful...
