It's not like cutting your fingernails you know. Once you've cut off those nerves and all that sensitive skin you'll never have those feelings ever again in your entire life. It's up to you but I'd do a little more research if I were you.

I'm way against it for children, and in your case, I don't really care because you are an adult who can choose to do whatever he wants to his body IMO as long as you are able to access good information on the subject, but I am more curious as to what the deal is with getting it done this Saturday?

Is a mohel having like a firesale or something? What's the rush? Why Saturday?

Although I said I didn't care, since you asked for advice, common sense dictates it's best not to cut off parts of your body especially when it's kind of a manic "gotta do it saturday" type thing. You should think about it for a few months and see if you still want to then (sorry that's my best advice, and it's what I use when I am thinking of buying something).

oh god, first, you should do some research for yourself about this matter.

If you have medical problem or something like that, then do accordingly to the doctor's order.
If you want to circumcise just for the look or fit in or whatever else, DON'T. #-o

It's your choice after all, do some research first though. And don't do it yourself...

Let me put something into perspective on what a urologist I saw tell me, "If you are able to clean it properly daily and it doesn't cause discomfort during sexual activity then there is no reason to have a circumcision done." As others have stated, unless there is a dire medical emergency, honestly why would you want to put yourself through that pain as an adult? Guys bitch about getting a vasectomy, can you imagine the pain for getting a circumcision?

Don't because it really hurts!! You can't really undo the procedure if you're not happy with the results.

Also, it seems fishy that you can get this procedure done this Saturday... Are you going to go to an underground clinic or a sketchy doctor in Mexico? Places like those should be avoided, NO exceptions. You could get complications!!

Foreskin restoration uses the skin that's on the shaft of the penis. That skin is stretched forward to cover the glans. I have this to say to those who say you should consider circumcision for hygiene reasons:

If a person doesn't brush their teeth regularly, he runs the risk of gum disease and halitosis. Would you recommend that he have all his teeth pulled just because he can't be bothered to brush them at least once or twice a day? No, you wouldn't.

It's the same principle with a foreskin.
A little daily maintenance takes care of most problems.

should you decide you want it back later, the restoration process is very expensive, time consuming and not successful many times. i have to admit, cut is easier to maintain.

btw, the study re aids and circ was in africa and they concluded it could possibly help heteros but def was not of benefit to homos.

i'm circumsized but if i wasn't i wouldnt go through the trouble in my adult life to get it snipped. i dont think the pain of it would be worth it.

Ok, I AM putting up a response - I just wanted to give time to collect a few opinions first.

I have thought about it, so I'm not making a decision on ONLY your votes. But, all of you are representative of guys I might meet one day, so what you like is relevant.

There is a walk-in clinic that only does cuts on certain saturdays througout the year. Mostly I cannot fit it in with my timetable, but this weekend happens to be good. If I skip this one, the next possible one might be a long way off.

I have no medical or physical problem. But 4skins kinda gross me out when I encounter them, so I figured I should be the way I like other to be.

Next question: is it true (my observations seem to show this) that cut cocks tend to stick out more, or look slightly hard even when soft, while uncuts generally hang straight down?
I'd really like to get a 'slightly hard even when soft' look, if that can be done by means of a circ.

If you have no issues or problems with your foreskin, I would leave it alone. The recovery time after removing your foreskin is long, and you will go a few weeks without being able to jack off.

Also...it doesn't sound very reliable that a clinic has a walk in policy on circumsion. I would be very wary of that. It is your cock, you only get one.
