Could it be that the doctors that recommend it are in a for profit system and those who don't are not? Follow the money trail.

As for looks I prefer the looks of a cut cock over that of natural, but I try not to let that cloud my judgment.

My son was circumcised, he has discussed this with me, it has in no way had any ill effect on him. He has had sex all over the world (he was in the navy) he is not mad or bitter.

I see the procedure as unnecessary and a way to make a few bucks.

Thank god !! I did hear about the HIV and STD prevention though but can't we just teach our children to wear a condom ?! Now you've pointed the profit system and I feel kind of enlightened. From my point of view is the only reason a doctor could recommend that procedure wich can be medically necessary in the case you have a phimosis but you don't know that untill adolescence...

Today, they think genital mutilation is done for hygiene, and they somehow think it looks better. The fact is, it was supposed to prevent masturbation. Unfortunately this practice is also done in Canada (although on a smaller scale), so unfortunately, I've been mutilated. I'm just glad that ugly scar isn't very visible on my penis... but I've seen some circumcision scars that look like the guy got his dick stuck in a meat grinder... and Americans actually prefer this look. I can stand a circumcised penis, but only because I'm used to my own. If I was intact, a mutilated dick would probably sicken me.

For some reason, women think they should have the right to force their male children, or even their husbands to get mutilated... but if female circumcision was common, these same women would be rallying against it. In fact, if that were the case, it would have been banned decades ago. Since it's happening to men though, no one cares.

Americans always bring up the hygiene thing, but what about your underarms? Your ass? Your feet? etc.... by their logic, they should cut off their arms and legs. In fact, why not just install their brain in a stainless steel box? Also, if they think mutilated body parts look good, why not check out some gore fetish websites?

Well for me it would be better to cut the hands in stead of the foreskin if you really want to prevent masturbation..... And I don't really see it as an act of mutilation...

The Doctor is paid around a Grand to do the circumcision.
They sell the foreskin for say $150 or so to Cosmetic Companies and the like.
The Cosmetics it's used in cost waaaaaaay too much.
....and all the profit in between from surgical supplies, transportation, lab equipment, etc.

Basically 1 circumcision is worth $1,000s & Docs can do several in a day. ​

That's not a lot of money compared to other surgeries. You make it sound like it could be $50.

I was circumcised as an infant and didn't know any differently. Until few years ago, I had seen only one uncircumcised penis in junior high school and wondered why it was different. I didn't see any others in junior high, high school, or the military service. I thought that uncircumcised penises were ugly at first and am now used to some but still think some are ugly. I didn't have a choice but am glad that I was circumcised because I would have been embarrassed to be different as a teenager. I also had my tonsils removed as a toddler and believe that was standard then and also had some wisdom teeth removed later. I believe that these are all common procedures. I don't know what is done now as that was some time ago. If I had a newborn son now, I would want what is normal now for him so he would feel that he fits in. I'm not aware of any problems with being circumcised and was under the impression it was done for preventive medical reasons. If everyone you knew was circumcised would you want to be the weird one?

Oops sorry I didn't read well enough, women circumcision does exist it's called excision and it is a real act of mutilation as it prevents women having pleasure during sex and also assures their husband that they are not going to look for another man to satisfy them... Cutting a piece of skin is more like having a nipple peircing to me...

That's my point, here in Europe you are different when you're cut and if you went here in high school as an exchanged student or something young guys would have asked you "are you Muslim, are you Jewish, or did you have a medical problem ?!" Because it's the only reason we can see not to have a choice...
And stop saying that uncut cock are ugly please...
And as answer to your last question I guess that with my personality I would not have given a shit about others. But it is my personality.

That's the fee for an adult circumcision.

For infants, it's less that $200 and it usually increases as the child gets older because of the additional sedation needs.
