ok I feel sorry for Paris now--damn-it

I am a sensitive person by nature, but seeing this [censored] crying in a squad car does nothing to tug at my emotions whatsoever. To me, she's getting what she deserves. And it is not because she is a celebrity. When you have flagrant disregard for the law, you have to do the time as anyone else and money in this case should not talk.

Camparing the tears of that spoiled bitch, to that horrible Vietnam War picture is blasphemy.

American values have gone downhill :(

The site did it for tongue in cheek humour. At the same time, I think the comparison might work if what I think will happen will happen.

I agree you do the crime you do the time. BUT what they are doing to her is just not right. Put her in or take her out, they need to make up their minds. Its just pitiful now. Theres people that are out there for murder getting treated better.

I will concede to this. BUT, that is why the sheriff is (hopefully) being brought up on contempt charges--he never should have let her out.

Still, I feel as bad about her crying about going to jail as I do a kid throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of Wal-Mart because he can't get the toy he wants.

Yeah she had a condition all right....Clinical Entitlement, I hear she's been diagnosed incurable.

If someone in your neighborhood who did not have the money, the Hilton name, and her picture splashed everywhere and an entourage to fal all over her every turd, er, word, were to act the way she does, say the things she does, you would call her a bitch, a whore, a bartramp, & worse.

I swear I can't help but think that anybody who adores her, follows her every move, defends her stupidity, arrogance, & talentless tasteless "career" must be holding on to some kind of hope that maybe they too, stupid, arrogant, ugly, & talentless just might have a crack at their 15 minutes of fame too.

So, maybe she is a role model, in some demented, shallow, & vulgar way.

Too bad that truly good people who are victims of real injustice aren't covered or supported this way, they're ignored. They're not "newsworthy".

You know the whole world's gone mad when CNN breaks away from the G8 Summit coverage for "Breaking News" about this fucktard.

I need to stop now.

Alright I admit it, I feel a little sorry for Paris Hilton. At least in Washington State, it's SO easy to pick up a DUI or Reck Drive charge, and under some bizarre circumstances even. And in the courts I deal with the typical punishment for her probation violation would be likely 30 days in jail combined with some community service hours requirement. So yeah, 45 days in jail sounds like a lot to me.

Somehow those photos do tug at my heartstrings. :(

But she tried to con her way out of the situation by "being on the verge of having anxiety and panic attacks" uhmm she's in jail for special celebrities, it's not like they make her doing hard time at the penitentiary. The way she's acting as if people were going stoned her. She broke the law and was disrespectful to the judge at the hearing.

I believe that she should have not even went into Jail because that is going to put to much stress on the California jail system because with her in there the Hilton family will keep them under a microscope and if anything happens it will end up with the state paying for it. Paris has to be under 24 hour surveillance, guards are not going to be allowed to have cell phones and they can not disrespect her in anyway or they will end up being sued. The state's jails are already over crowded and the Judge was making an example of Paris because he is up for election this year. A normal person would be sentenced to community service but because of the media they decided to punish her.

And the woman who killed her preacher husband only has to spend 60 days in a mental health facility. That is only 15 more days then Paris and she didn't kill anyone.

That woman was mentally ill, Paris violated a parole, anybody violating a parole would have gotten the same. The media just happens to cover more on this because society cares about entertainment more.

I don't think it's about the other inmates. (I guess even if she knows she's protected she will still feel scared.) It's the people outside the jail. Look at how you guys talk about her. This is sad and pathetic on her part really, but she's just realizing how much everyone HATES her. Being a stupid spoiled whore isn't tolerable, but imagine everyone rooting for you to fail...

Well...i feel bad that she is upset about it, and it is sad. however, she broke a law (drunk driving) and could have killed someone. then she broke another law twice (driving on a suspended license). at least that is what NPR said. so 1, i think she should have went to jail for the DUI. surely she has people who could drive her around...it wasn't like she was a hardship case and needed to driver her self to work. so in that respect, 45 days isn't that long now if what Z said is correct, then maybe it was too long. But she should still spend sometime in jail it seems, at least more than the 3 days she was there. i'm not sorry she is going back to jail, she broke the law.

I'm sorry.

I had to.

It was just too perfect to pass up.

It's unfortunate that she's in such distress about it, because she really is getting off easy. The sad thing is if she'd just served her 23 days in the first place, she'd be out by July 4th, but now she's gotta do the whole shebang, and for what? A few lousy hours at home. It really wasn't worth it.

And seeing her cry like that in the back of the car just seems to me like a tantrum a kid throws when they can't get their way: you hate to see it, but she'll be fine--it's not like they're taking her to "the chair".

I think the point should not be based on it being paris hilton. But how many of you would try to get out of it if you could?!?! I bet most of you would...

It doesnt make sense how people apparently 'know' these celebs and 'know' how snobbish, stuckup, bitchy, etc. they are, when really we have now idea how they act in real life. The media is not real life, you know how many people are getting paid to get the 'exclusive' on paris?! Fuck yea they are going to do whatever they can to get a 'story' so they make money and blah blah blah.

And I think its pretty sad that some of you find pleasure in seeing someone cry.

Paris made a mistake.
Paris tried to get out of it.
So do tons of other people every day.

GET OVER IT!

A. I want to see the sheriff disciplined.

B. Obviously the picture comparison was made out of irony to show just how over-exaggerated she's acting.

I'm kinda inclined to agree with you on that...

I don't hate or love her & I could almost care less about her "harsh sentence" BUT

I'm sure a ton of people would humbly accept the whatever time a judge gave them; but I'm almost positive a majority of people (given they had the same amount of fame, money, & whatever else that Paris has) would be doing whatever they could do get out of it...whether feigning illness or pulling whatever strings they could

And to those who think we won't be hearing about her for 45 days? Yeah right....

EXACTLY! The messed up thing about it is that even though people are saying "oh she's spoiled she's did'nt earn anything oh she's a whore" Regular people really aren't that better(well some people are)but for the most part NO.

But a the same time I wish they would just let Paris do the time. SHE HAS TO DO IT LET HER!!!!!

and that's my rant.

Then this just proves Paris is a snobbish, stuckup bitch because she actually agreed to get out of jail instead of passing up the offer and doing her time. Even after that big speech about wanting to do her time or something along those lines. She needs to face the consequences just like the rest of us would.

In a perfect world drunk/high drivers like paris would be the ones dying. In this world its the kids they hit that are dying.

Paris and every other DUI driver - deserve to die. I reserve NO COMPASSION for those that threaten the lives of innocent kids.

There is a justice after all. That bitch is back in jail, I'm so happy ..|(!).
I think Paris deserve the death for having inflicted her ugly face to us for too a long time in the media. The electric chair would be a too soft death. She should be put to death by forcing her to listen her horrible album and to watch the five seasons of "the simple life" that stupid show for brainless viewers.
I hate that whore

I did feel a little bit sorry for her when I saw the picture. Trust me. she's the most annoying person on my list. I can't stand her.
It's so obvious that her Parents bailed her out of trouble all her lives (she kept calling her mom when they took her away like do something mom..)
It's so sad that they're problably made her think that she can get away with anything because you're rich and she has gotten away with it so many times. She got pulled over twice and got away with it.
Now I know why Lohan checked herself into rehab so fast.

Since she's the most hated person (from all the polls tha I've seen on the net)
Most people want to see her locked up than be out in her mansion. I don't think the sherrif think that the case would get this big attention. I read this on MSNBC http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19124161/site that he's been know accept bribery from people all the time. Now the ugly truth will come out.

This could be a turning point in her life to change the public perception about her and she screwed that up too. Now she just showed the whole world that she's nothing but a spoiled brat.
She should have gone in there, do the time keep her mouth shut and she might even get out in 10 days. When she's out try to do positive thing. Try to set up some organization raising money to stop DUI and educate people how serious DUI is. Poepole are more forgiving that way.
But it will be hard for her because she party for a living. That's her career really....

Overly privileged lushes going aground aren't anything new and, on one level, she asked for and deserves what's happening to her.

On the other hand, turning her into a human yoyo must be a total mind-fuck for her and is certainly more emotional punishment than Joe Normal would get.

Her original DUI (or whatever it was plea bargained to) is serious. But most folk in LA don't get 45 days for a non-injury parole violation on a non-felony even if it is a second citation. That might still be fair in her case because she is an ass, turning up late to court and pretending she's too busy to be bothered with this stuff. But bouncing her in and out of prison is kinda abusive. At this point, I think the judge is taking it out on her because that arrogant jerk Sheriff Baca did the wrong thing.
