sorry, but I think there's been a bit of confusion....the link I provided was for the boy that trying to get between me and Mike...he's really not my friend anymore.


And about Mike...I will see him this week, i am gonna go to walmart everyday this week until I see him so I can ask if he would wnt to hang out and get closer, you know friends first.
 
Yeah, Mike's definitely more interested in you. Are you sure he isn't just sorry for mistreating you and wants to be buddies again though? Is he even gay?
 
I have a really great update!!! If you read the original post, then you know that Micheal used to be my meighbor, in fact next-door neighbor. I moved to the other side of town with my dad and my little sis and bro stayed with my mom. my older sis moved with me.

well anyway, my mom came and my little bro (hes about 8 yo) has been telling me that Micheal keeps asking him questions about where my sis and I are. he came today @ my jb that micheal asked dec31st where I was; why he hadn't seen me. now remember this guy wasnt too friendly to gays too long ago, so I am glad! i get to see him tomorrow @ work, he def works, and then i will ask him if wants to hang. cos i know hes interested now!!!

BUT....play it cool. There's no bigger turn off than someone who's just drolling over you.

HE's the one who's changed, so HE's the one who's adapting....let him do it at his own pace. If you're cool, and even play it a little hard to get he might appreciate you even more than if you're like some drooling fan of his...

And besides....he might not be ready for full on admiration and love from you....he might just want to talk a bit and be friends...

H's probably picked up that you like him, so play a little hard to get....but not too hard....you don't want to frighten him away....

As much as I want to hold him and kiss him, I know you're completely right. I somehow 'followed' your advice today. I went to Walmart and saw him but I deliberately didn't stop to talk to him. I really dont want to seem insistent and 'drooling' so that is great advice...i will play low-key until we can become friends. I want to know him inside and out before we get closer [physically lol]. So I'm thinking a weekend visit would be good, maybe even next Monday.
 
Does anyone have any idea what i should suggest?

I see him tonight after like 40 bad tries---everytime i showed up he happened to have just left or he was off. but i see him for sure soon and i dont want to be nervous. should i ask him to go to a movie? go to the mall?

what would be friendly?

wow!! just read all of the blogs here. i am amazed. its probably not a good idea to stop by his work so often, and not talk to him. it makes you look a little like you're drooling over him. if he's not gay and just wants to be your friend or to make up for the way he treated you in the past, then that could just turn him into a homophobe again.

i would suggest either giving your phone number to him (if you see him at work, or he stops by your work), or telling your brother to give him your number (if you don't see him at work) but after he gets your number i wouldn't stop by wal mart again. let him come to you. thet way you know that he will be more comfortable with the hole thing. if he gets your number and you don't here from him in a week then go back to walmart and see whats up.

Dude thanks, and your first post!! So I won't stop by...thanks. I just have to wait now. I will try to get my number to him somehow, and I will let you guys know.
 
Hey, if he only wants to make up for it, there's no real reason to not talk to him. IF you bump into him say hi. If he says Hi back, when he didn't before, that means he wants to start something. So walking around giving looks and not saying hello makes people feel bad. He might get the weird idea that you're drooling like Jason remarked. Just walk up to the guy, tell him everything's cool, no hard feelings about anything (well there probably still is but hey you gotta forgive right?) and if he decides something could come up he probably will make the move. He's holding back a little because he's conscious about what he did and knows he doesn't really deserve your attention anymore. So, just make sure he knows you're open to whatever he might want with you. And I don't mean that in the gay relationship way. I just mean it in the friendship area. If he feels you're being honest, even though he knows you like him and have feelings for him, he probably will be more open to what his real interests are in the future. Just don't sound like you're desperate to start any kind of relationship with him. Just stand your ground, make him realize there's a new page you've opened for him, and let him do the first writings. Don't push things too hard, let him come to you. :)

Yeah. The last few days have been a haze. I truly need to set my mind on other things and worry less about Micheal. i usually end up bringing him up in conversation, or I think about him alot. I can't do that. Cause I don't want to get too involved. I will wait. I have to be patient. I can't just expect him to change completely, I have to endure and wait. I would much prefer being his friend before anything else; first, I'm not a slut; and second, I truly care deeply for him and I want to be a buddy and a hangout guy for him for the time being. I hope I don't see him for awhile and that I can keep from Walmart; I don't want to look like a drooling fool, cause i'm not. I'm just confused. And the only way to make it end is to step away.

So...I went to Walmart and I was talking to my coworker from TB. We were like...'Mike is never here when we come...' and then we saw him. We walked around for a little then I picked out some stuff And we got in his line. My buddy walked off and when he finished ringing me up, I was like

'I don't want to be intrusive Micheal, but how are you?"

"I'm good."

So you go to Wayne (the college)?"

"Yeah.."

"Is it nice up there?"

"Yeah, it's a lot better than the high school."

And then I left. I know it isn't anything monumental but it's still something. He was looking me straight in the eyes, I'd never looked at him so. He is so beautiful. My new plan is to keep stopping infrequently and getting to know him in sort intervals. Then, by the time we are on good terms, maybe we'll hang out. I will write soon.

I love the way you think you're being intrusive. Sounds a bit to me like you're now over cautious.....IMHO...but then I don't know what the lie of the land is.

Carry on being cool...but be careful you're not too cool. He's probably a bit scared....and he might think you're being of with him, or he might also think you're just gonna be nice to him and then whack him with some nastiness...much in the same way he did to you....

So just tread that careful line.....

BTW I am nearly forty, so if you could get this thing going before I die I'd be grateful (LOL)

hello. i haven't seen micheal in forever, and today is the first time since we spoke. its been two months and some advice would be nice.

i wanted to give him space bc i even felt like i was bugging him, but i am now ready to tell him how i feel and show him how much i care.
 
Please don't get your hope up too much as much of this has been going on in your head and heart and not actually with M. Alow down and wait till you actually meet with him and have a chance to talk.

You cna enquire what tiem he gets off work and have some coffee together!
