^ Thank you for your concern. I rarely post in Hot Topics anymore, but your post requires a direct reply.
I don't remember what has been discussed in this thread, but in January 2014, I shattered my left hip in a fall on ice. The entire hip was replaced. Two years later, in November 2016, I fell on the other side and broke my right hip, my right wrist, and my right shoulder. The hip and wrist were both pinned and screwed in surgery, but the shoulder could not be repaired by surgery. It was bound in a sling (no cast) and allowed to heal naturally. I spent a month and one day in hospital for that one.
I have healed for the most part but I have not recovered. Sadly, that means that I am not doing better in 2020. And dealing with a number of new health issues, I will never do better in the future. Life will only become more difficult for me.
But, I do what I can and will continue to do so until I am unable to do them any longer. Until then, I'll do all I can to not fall down again.
My advice to everyone: Don't Fall Down.
