On my way to the hospital

Glad to see the Humor is still Active! ..|

And, may all the rest follow! \:/ (group)

As I've been known to say ... from here and there ... No Matter What ... And, I TRULY do MEAN it ...

Maybe you should volunteer to be his Candy Stripper, err, Striper, yeah, something like that.

Neil got his Get Well Card from the gang today - His nurse was pretty good looking, but the aid to help bathe him gave him nightmares.

He greatly appreciates everyone's help - it will definitely come in handy.

^ Indeed. A special 'thank you' goes out from me. (You know who you are. ..| )

Freddie may have been good, but just remember: Ginger did everything Fred did, but she did it backwards and in high heels.

You know that you are quite right there and I never ever even thought about how difficult it must have been for her.

My youth was brightened by their movies and the one regret I have in life, apart from not being rich, is not having followed my dream to be a dancer.

Thanks for the 'heals' correction. Flashback to the broken hip, I guess. ;)

So glad you're doing better.

When I was last in the hospital, I told them I was vegetarian, and they kept bringing me chicken soup and jello, so I didn't eat (that's after they took out the stitches and pulled the feeding tube). I lost so much weight in the hospital that they almost didn't let me go home until I told them I was going to KEEP losing weight as long as I was in the hospital!

Glad to see the joviality is staying with you - positive mental attitudes are half the battle.

^ It's either 'joviality' or bitching and complaining about how sore my back is right now.

And THAT is Precisely why I continue rambling ...

No Matter What ...

Do either of your kitts ever do this?

I'm still trying to get used to the fact that my left leg is shorter than it used to be. For half my life, I walked with a slant (my right leg was 2 cm shorter than my left) and a limp. I'm not slanted any more, but I still anticipate my left leg reaching the ground sooner than it does. I truly feel as though I'm slanting to the left now. Not to mention the fact that my body wants to limp on both legs now.

It's all so very confusing and causing me no end of sleepless night.

Maybe you need a marathon session of "The Lion King" - Hakuna Matata - you're balance out now - time to get your land legs under you instead of being onboard the HMS Tilted Deck.

Is there any chance that fixing the slant will improve or stabilise some of the other joints that have caused you problems?
