Okay, so I've been looking up information on this most of the evening...do they really work? Has anyone here used them before? I am curious. I was always fascinated with ghosts/spirits since a young age, and at one point, I believe I encountered a paranormal entity, but I wasn't really sure if it was real, or just my mind playing tricks. I believe I could make a Ouija Board out of cardboard if I wanted to, but I may just go buy one at the toy store this weekend...what do you guys think?

Bad juju if you ask me. You won't find me touching that thing with a ten foot pole.

Well I have a feeling this topic may be meant just to LURE...

But oh well every gay bitch on here hates me like rednecks hate Obama anyway.

I used a friend's board and didn't believe it. She removed her hand and it kept moving. Your eyes must be focused on the board.. because the spirits use your eyes to see out of the other side. You must NEVER use alcohol, weed, or other drugs while using the board. Always place the board on your lap... or the laps of two people.. your body contact and body energy is what makes it work.

You have to believe in it for it to work.. and must be VERY calm and relaxed.

Ouija boards have been around for thousands of years even in B.C. Its not what its made out of or who makes it such as Hasbro. You could make one at home if it pleases you. Its not what its made of.. its what it does.. and what your intentions are. You can get in touch with God and spirituality.. just like you can get deeply in touch with other shit. BE CAREFUL. DO not play alone. I no longer play the board... for reasons I dont wanna say which will make me look like MORE of a lunatic here on JUB.

You have to believe in it for it to work.

I've always loved this line of bullshit... It's saying there's actually no way to prove it works one way or the other.

Before you know it, your head will be twisting 360 degrees, puking on a priest and be using a crucifix for a Dildo..

I think this thread necessitates a mention of the Bye-Bye Man.

You mean this doesn't answer your question?

Well just because they're sold at a toy store doesn't mean they're fake, or simply "toys". I believe that it's how they're used and who's using them that makes it possible to communicate with spirits. Of course, I have no proof, as I haven't tried it yet, but it's just my belief.

I've never tried it, but I would like to! Just to see what would happen...

I believe that it's how they're used and who's using them that makes it possible to communicate with spirits.

Then, in your mind, they are real, and it's not likely that anyone else will convince you otherwise.

Some people are going to believe they are a game. Some people are going to think they actually bridge the gap between this world and the spirit world.

Just have fun with it.

DONOVAN - listen to MATTAD, MADONNA, & ASHY - - it may be sold in toy stores but it is DEFINATELY NOT A TOY --

Mess with it at your own rish -- like the smart boys said -- you've been warned... go watch blair witch OR SOMETHING -- but don't fuck with that board ......seriously............I mean really !!

Do a search for some other threads here on JUB where the Ouija is discussed. I had an experience with one before that was definitely not just a prank or one of the other participants moving it.

We messed with one as teenagers, and sure as shit...the thing flew across the room with nobody touching it!
Walk away...scary shit!

George Noory on the Coast To Coast AM radio program is constantly warning listeners NOT to play around with Ouija boards, saying it's a portal for demons and spirits. He's often has people call in saying they used one and regretted it afterwards.

About a month ago, he had a guest on who told the story of three teenaged girls in the Sixites who played with a Ouija board. They asked if they would get married and it said YES. They asked how many would be married and it said 3. Then they asked would there be any divorces and the board said YES. They asked how many divorces and it said 3.

Years went by and the girls lost touch with one another, then they met again, I think it was at a school reunion, and they remembered what the Ouija board had said. The three girls had all been married - and one of them had been divorced 3 times. (Technically I realize that means there were actually 5 marriages if one of the girls married and divorced three times, but still, it was spooky to hear the story.)

We had a Ouija board when I was a kid and I remember we asked if my older brother who was in the military at the time, would get married and it said YES. We asked to whom and it said HELEN JOHNSON. We asked where she lived and it said BLUE MOUNTAIN. We looked in an atlas and we found a Blue Mountain, Arkansas listed, which was kind of a strange coincidence, since we always vacationed in the Ozarks in Arkansas. We had talked about going to Hot Springs one year, but never did, and Blue Mountain was near Hot Springs. My brother returned from the military and married, but not to anyone named Helen Johnson. However, when I took my first job in Memphis, my manager was a woman named Helen Johnson. Weird, huh?

My cousins also had a Ouija board and I remember they used to communicate with a spirit who claimed to be an Indian. They talked to it constantly until the conversations became increasing foul and threatening. My aunt finally threw the Ouija board away.

I've not used a Ouija board since I was a kid and I don't plan to ever use one again. I've heard too many bad things about them.

I really want to try one of these! I have so many questions to ask. I love getting spooked and I love the adrenaline rush.

I just don't know how to get my hands on one of these things....

Ouija Boards are absolutely real! They are made by Parker Brothers, out of cardboard and plastic, and you can really buy them. I know because I actually saw one at Toys R(backwards) Us.

Don't believe the skeptics. You can actually buy one at the store. I've seen receipts for them although I admit I have never actually seen one myself.
