I would say Sideways. I don't think anyone has mentioned that...I don't know why. It was dull and pretentious. It wasn't a horrible movie...though I hated it. I just refer to those who said "Best Movie of the Year!" Best Comedy of the century!" And the best part of all was when Paul Giamatti whined and complained that he didn't get an oscar nod. He is wildly irritating and not at ALL narcissistic.

mmm first of all someone name crash that movie was really underrated critics gave B- , well everyone has their ows opinion but im really upset some guys name movies like american beauty, sixth sense, gone with the wind requiem for a dream , memento , the godfather, MILLION DOLLAR BABY (those movies r classicss!!!) i almost died when i read million dollar baby and american beauty haha..... overrated "sideways" thats my opinion but i lvoe sandra oh in that movie

Brokeback Mountian, a friend brought the DVD on Amazon, so he could have it before it was released here and lent it to me. I could only watch half an hour of it, before turning it off. He then tells me I missed one of them dieing from a gay bashing, and the other one regretting not coming out. As the victim of a gay bashing that has fucked up my life that is the last thing I ever want to watch!

The other one has to be Lord of the Rings, as a New Zealander living in NZ the amount of hype we had to put up with was unbelievable and when they showed it on TV it was add free, after half an hour I switched channels to watch CSI (with adds)

As much as I know of almost all of the movies mentioned in this Thread, I have not seen most of them and still don’t want to see them

Peter Jackson, was OK before he went all Hollywood

American Beauty was a good movie, I'll admit, but it absolutely did NOT deserve to win the Best Picture Oscar. All the hoopla surrounding it was undeserved in my opinion. I also have to say Napoleon Dynamite. I love dark and/or dry humor, but to this day I do not understand how anyone can find humor in that movie. There was one or two moments where I kinda chuckled, but the rest of the movie was like WTF????

For me, I'd have to say I was really disappointed in Wedding Crashers and Talladega Nights... Waste of time and money

As for the "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" comment... I LOVED that movie That could also be because some of the "greek family" humour is pretty close to what a Ukrainian family can be like.

Kill Bill, along with anything Quentin Tarantino touches, is geneous. if you want to talk crappy movies, start with this year's front runner (and ultimate loser) in the Oscar race - Brokeback Mountain. What a piece-o-crap. the only good thing in that movie, besides that stunning setting, is jake gyllenhall (spelling sucks, i know) and his highly underrated preformance.
