PalacePaul Appreciation Thread

Good evening, Thad and John (*8*)
Yes, this region has everything for hiking at any difficulty level! With beautiful landscapes, too. Look at this:

We agreed that we pause during summer, and we'll resume the excursions in september.
This summer started extremely hot, but now is very mild. It's cold at night and we've had some big storms.

Today the organ builder came to tune the organ and we spent most of the day (honestly, I think he could do the job faster :( )

Hola Paul , that landscape looks mindblowing and beautiful
Thanks for writing , disfruta del verano ya que faltan varias semanas para que concluya
Ten una buena semana

Good Thursday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

That is some beautiful scenery. I'm sure you'll be happy to take up hiking again in the fall. So that organ tuner was a bit slow? Hmm, I wonder if he was slowing down because he wanted to spend more time with you...

Hi Paul! I'm in Chicago. I had fun at Northalsted Market Days, the biggest gayest street and music festival in the Midwest USA.

Last year my friend Frank came with me, and said, "I've never been surrounded by so much beef in my life." I did visit Frank this trip but he didn't want to deal with the heat this year. Yes, it was quite hot...

I fly home this evening.

Hope you are well and enjoying summer.

Good evening Frankie, John and Thad (*8*)
Frankie gracias por escribir. Estas últimas semanas son mis preferidas, sobre todo a partir de septiembre cuando hace menos calor y hay poca gente en la playa.
John, I don't think that's the reason (thank God :devilish:).
Thad I hope you enjoyed your festival in Chicago and have a safe travel home.

I spent the weekend 200km away to play a concert. It was a funny little organ in a spectacular neo-gothic chapel. I enjoyed the experience.
On saturday I visited two Roman sites in the area, that was very interesting.

I wish you have a good week :)

Hola Paul

Cuidate (UU)

Good Wednesday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I'm glad you enjoyed playing that funny little organ at that cathedral and getting to see those Roman ruins. I hope you're enjoying the end of summer.

I'm home.

Roxie the parrot missed me. She was cared for while I was gone but she's squeaking and squawking for attention whenever I'm in her sight. So of course I sing to her and have been generous with her favorite snacks, peanuts and Cheerios.

Good evening, Thad (*8*)
She must be funny to be around :)

Today a young British organist came to visit the organ at the cathedral.

The weekend was very hot and humid, but today is much better. I hope the storms will come back so I can watch the lightning.

Hola Paul , espero que sigas disfrutando del verano
Ten un bonito Martes , gracias por escribir

Cuidate y vive la vida al máximo

Good Thursday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I hope things are going well with you. Did you end up making music with that young British organist? I hope your weather is good.

Good evening, John. I hope you're having a good week. (*8*)
That boy and his family only had a short time to visit, and he played 2 pieces himself.
Yesterday I took my car to the inspection center: I failed. :( Had to find a car repair that wasn't closed for holidays to make 2 small reparations. Today I took the car back to the center and I finally passed the inspection. The mechanic was totally cute.
It's been cooler these days with some rain.

Good evening!
On friday I went to a distant village on the Pyrenees to listen to my first teacher playing a concert.
Tomorrow I'm leaving for an organ course, so I won't be posting for a few days.
Take care everyone (*8*)

Good Saturday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I hope your organ course went well, and that you enjoyed your time there. Were you teaching, or were you a student there?

Good evening Frankie and John (*8*)
I came home earlier today.
The course went well, the students are nice and we (the teachers) get along very well. There's some juicy gossip, too.
This year we had a cute 24yo guy, really sweet and handsome
The place is a monastery located on a mountain, and the weather was rather cool.
I hope you had a good week.

Good evening frankie and RM. I hope you had a good day (*8*)
I'm slowly going back to normal after summer.
I wish I can take one or two more beach trips. But yesterday it was too cold for that :(
