Great news. Even though I don't live in the US. I think movies like this deserve more attention than most of the soddy, unimpressive, unimaginative flick people put out there (anyone heard of Jennifer's Body or Sorority Row?).

Honestly judging from the trailer itself, I can't shake off how it looks a LOT like the setting from a normal Ghost Hunter episode. Maybe the GH series will gain a stronger following after this movie.

By the way, anyone saw how GH got ripped a new one by SouthPark this week? Heehee!

i seen Sorority Row..not much of a horror.. more of a Thriller.. but its an okay movie..

Jennifer's Body.. it was alright.. Megan Fox totally looks hot.. Same goes for that "Goth/Punk" lookin guy lol.. but anyway

Paranormal Activity looks pretty good, idk yet.. i gotta watch it..

Went and saw it today. It will make your butthole pucker a few times and has some pretty freaky moments. It's not the scariest show out there but it's a lot of fun to watch. It has a similar feel to it as Blair Witch, but better

yes i saw it. Many people were screaming, and maybe im a hardass, but it was nothing compared to the exorcist, saw, silence of the lambs ect. It was slamming doors...the last 7 seconds were the only moderately frightening part

With all the "hype" I'm glad it's opening in my town on Friday. I'll check it out with a couple of buds..

The movie is just 1hr-26min...Only 1,300 people DEMANDED it in my town...

The exorcist was pure genius when it first came out. The first time I saw it I had nightmares for a 2 weeks. Silence of the Lambs was disturbing and gross but when it first came out I could easily watch it.

Love both of those.

Saw is just silly...

What makes this movie truly psychologically frightening is that majority of the scare elements are present in our daily lives.

How would you feel about Unexplained door movement? door slamming? lights being turned on and off, ceiling cover opened.

It took the good ideas from previous top horror movies like the real-like feel of blair witch/Rec, the possession from exorcist, and of course fear of the unknown.



Worst part is that after we saw this movie, we had to drive at 2:00 in the morning in thick fog and deserted road...

It was pretty meh. I'm all for suspense and minimal violence, but the film is nowhere near as terrifying as people claim.

Saw it earlier tonight...A TOTAL sleeper..I don't know what upsets me more about "Paranormal activity", the fact that Paramount studios over-hyped the flick or the fact that "B" movies continue to dominate. The movie was NOT scary and "slamming doors" is as good as it gets. It is an INSULT to compare this LAME movie to "Blair Witch"...This movie was simple a $15,000 budgeted "rip-off" of the "Blair Witch meets the Grudge"..

I wanted the movie to be "over" already half-way through. With TV-promos like "The Scariest Film of all time" & "DEMAND this flick in your town" was a great selling point for a "B" Flick that should have been straight-to-video.

Do NOT waste your money to sit through that Mess. Wait for DVD or HBO. You will not be sorry..
