Peaches Geldof, second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, has died aged 25, leaving a husband and two sons.


It seems she was obssessing about her mother. It will be so sad if she has committed sucicide over it

It's really fucked up if she was so traumatized by her mother's death--leaving her at a young age---that she couldn't figure out a way to prevent her 2 young kids from going thru the same shit---history repeating itself---hate to say it but it could have been prevented if she was a little less self-absorbed.

Even stranger is her full name, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence.

As for Peaches, this is altogether odd. So far no official cause of death so let's not assume she followed suit of the mother....er, yet.

Kent Police said earlier that her death was being treated as "non-suspicious but unexplained and sudden".

Somewhere else I read that they had said there were no illegal drugs found at the property

That is usually police speak for suicide, i know she never managed to find a suitable coping mechanism after her mothers death by heroin overdose.
Though i personally think it irresponsible to leave her children and husband in the same situation, if this was the case.

To be honest, this came as no surprise to me at all. After her horrific use of heroin in the past, and her inability to overcome the demons that
have haunted her for years over her mothers death. Plus the steady and "reliable" supply, that her "name" and fame would and could made it, no problem to buy "Potent" as in above the average cut "smack", that less well known and less wealthy individuals usually buy. Just there is the perfect storm. Sadly her children and her husband were not enough to "quell" the addictive personality that she suffered from.
I agree a truly sad death, that was preventable.

Sad. I don't get what people see in heroin. Especially when these people are very wealthy and essentially have it made. Such a waste. I don't get what heroin provides that these people are looking for.

^It is called escape, from whatever reality you find overwhelming. Just to "get away" from all the angst and anger that the person is carrying with them. Here in Scotland's Capital, we have a truly horrendous heroin problem. Now it is not unusual to see 3 generations of the same family using. Anyone with a social conscience finds this truly sad indeed.

It seems she was an habitual user and died directly of an overdose
