Didn't know where to put this.

So i work out, but haven't got the results I want on my chest, so lately I've been considering pectoral implants. I read online that they're meant to make your pecs look bigger but they won't give you more definition so you should keep working out. That's not a problem for me; my question is do you know anyone who has gone through this procedure? How do they look? Are they satisfied?

I looked for pics online and some of them look good (http://www.ienhance.com/physician/page3_case_description.asp?DocID=56618&ProcImageID=16112), but lots of them look terrible (http://www.ienhance.com/physician/page3_case_description.asp?DocID=43169&ProcImageID=16510) and I'm guessing it's just because the guys didn't work out thought the implants would do everything.

Remember, I'm not asking if I should get them or not (I probably won't because I don't have the money) I'm just asking if you know anyone who went through this.

I have considered pectoral implants, but am waiting another year or two and see how I am after losing a few more pounds. I can hardly get enough positive results with working outs in my pectoral area.

I know a guy that tried this. He did it because his chest was deformed, and it really helped.

Implants because you aren't getting the results you want? meh..

I work out about every other day (sometimes every day) and I have never had spectacular pecs (although I'd love to have them!)

I just worry with implants something like this might happen:

Well all the after pictures were taken 2 or 3 months after the surgery; considering you can't work out 2 weeks prior and 1 month after the surgery, it is understandable that the pecs don't look so real at that moment (just as it happens with girls the first months).

my guess is they show best case scenario. IMO, they loot a little too rounded. they need to be broader. Look at real pec pictures and compare them. They're off.

Of course they're off, they look terrible; that's what I'm asking if anyone knows someone who's gone through this in real life. I want to know if they do look good after some more time, if it does pay off.

what is lacking about your current chest? zero muscle, too much fat?

Not really...I have a hole in the middle of my chest; don't know how to describe it...so if you see my body in profile, you would see my pecs bulge in the sides but not in the middle, I really don't know how to describe it. In some angles (and in some pictures) I look like I don't work out at all which bothers me. My brother and I do the same type of exercise, with minor differences: I do it a lot more often than him but he still has a lot more definition and his pecs are bigger -that's probably because he eats a lot more and I'm naturally skinnier but still, it bothers me that mine aren't even more defined, which should be the case given that I work out more and I'm thinner.

Disgusting... this is something for women.

Bingo. The other thing you have to realize is that your chest will not get bigger unless your whole body gets bigger. So doing lower body and back workouts will help your chest grow more than trying to isolate your chest to grow by doing bench presses. The human body has to stay balanced to function properly. Work on the other parts of your body, eat more and you'll get there.

^Seriously, I'll never get there. As I said, I work out as well as my brother and his results are completely different; his chest is bigger and more defined.

What's our workout? The horizontal bar because it works all your body and I think the gym is lame. I see the results everywhere in my body, even in my chest, it looks better than before but not like I want it to look.

For someone who pointed out that someone can't read, read what I wrote :)

You need to concentrate on other big movements for your body like chins and pull ups, deadlifts, lunges and squats (and bench) in order to get your chest to grow. Switch it up with dumbell bench press as well.

Day 1: Squats, Chin ups, Seated Rows
Day 3: Deadlift, Bench, Military Press
Day 5: Inclinde Bench, Lunge, Pull ups

Eat a lot. I'm guessing you're working out is making you leaner and probably making your chest smaller.

Re: Pectoral implant

This is what happens when you don't even bother to read the thread. I'm not asking for your opinion on the subject, I'm asking if you know someone who's done this. Period. Besides, isn't this a NO FLAME ZONE?

I didn't flame you and I wasn't directing my comment to YOU.

I happen to think any type of cosmetic surgery on men is usually disgusting. Especially body modification.

I think breast implants is for women.

Indirectly you were.

Than word it differently, you can bring your point across in a more polite matter as several other posters in this thread demonstrated. Your post is a tad over the line for this forum.
