Parasite Hilton said he used the word "f**got" to tick off Will.I.Am -- and it worked -- but turns out the Black Eyed Pea wasn't the only one who got offended.

GLAAD -- the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation -- says they've asked Parasite to apologize for using the highly offensive gay slur ... but have yet to hear a peep from his foul mouth.

GLAAD sent out the following statement:

"We have reached out to Hilton and asked him to apologize for promoting this anti-gay slur, and we would ask media outlets to avoid repetition of the slur in their coverage of this story.

OK, but I DO care about what it is that creates such an irrational over-reaction to the mention of his name.

I mean, that fascinates me. How a blogger who posts the gossip that people crave (and doesn't seem to go any further than anyone else) can conjure up SUCH over-the-top hatred is just.. well it's confusing but one of the things that really interests me.

Go figure.

You know why they give him shit when they don't give all the other gossip media shit?

Because most of them can't stand the fact that we have to claim him as our own. He's a flaming, bitchy queen who comes off as nasty and mean spirited, and he reinforces the very stereotypes that so many gay people try to get away from.

Well, except for everyone in this thread who acted liked a bitchy queen toward another in this thread.

Throw him under the bus. And while we're at it, let's keep treating each other like shit while we try to get as far away from him as possible so we don't seem too much like him in any way.

However, it is a grammatical mess, which I usually abhor from my posts, but I'm in a shitty mood and not liking men much right now. Then reading this thread first upon arriving didn't help.

Yay for GLAAD calling Perez out. He should apologize. He should know as well as anyone using gay slurs is unacceptable. Perez Hilton is no representative for the gay community and his hateful name calling only proves that even more.
