Too bad that Cain and Gingrinch couldn't keep their dick in their pants, maybe we could have gotten to the *cough* bottom of the Gay Rumors about Perry and his Chief of Staff down in Austin.

It's a shame that the front runners of the GOP are actual frauds, who seem to be counting on the electorate's short attention spans.

Relative to the thread title, Perry becoming dumber is like being too thin or too rich. Oh, never mind... Karen Carpenter was too thin and Bill Gates is too rich.

Regarding the "candidacy" of Newt Gingrich, the concept of the "new Newt" is being touted. Remember the "new Nixon"? There never was a "new Nixon". The people just forgot.

As an aside, I tried to read "Perry's" book Fed Up. It was geared to the reading ability of the average fourth or fifth grader, which I found personally degrading - obviously not geared for anyone with an IQ over 90 i.e. his potential voters.

Love how they preach and rant about the constitution. Perry ask for those 21 to vote him. There is amendment that grants 18-19-20 year olds the right vote. To bad they can't get past the 2nd. amendment.

Why on Earth does the republican party have people like this as nominees to begin with? They give us morons like Perry, Palin, Gingrich, Santorum, Cain, Bachmann as so called "frontrunners". These people are out there mostly to make a buck and really don't care about running for President. Most of them have a book to peddle and they're using the attention they're receiving to hawk it. As governor Perry was working for a pharmaceutical corporation and made political decisions to enhance their profits, not for the good of the public.

The republican party has been hijacked by these people and not actual politicians who want to do something for the country. The rest of them are are in office work only for the wealthiest Americans and corporations.

The Republican cabal running for the Presidency illustrates the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of the party and sadly, of the state of politics in the US today.
