I like Olbermann as much as the next lefty, but he did breach his contract. I don't think it's unfair in the least bit. If he comes back, fine, but that doesn't set a good precedent for the future.

Why sign the petition when NBC placed KO on suspended "Admin-Leave" for publicity...They're spanking his hand..Big deal...Why is that not obvious to any of you?

Remember during the Presidential Campaign MSNBC removed KO from anchoring "Commentary Talk after the Presidential Debates"? They knew he'd be "over-the'Top" so they banned him from the set...He was BACK @ anchoring the 2010 Election...Not a BIG surprise..

He's SUSPENDED folks...NBC leans LEFT they will NOT Fire KO...He'll be back to hosting his Nightly Commentary Gig in a couple of weeks looking Handsome & Daddy-like as ever...

Agreed. It's sad that Fuck News doesn't play by any rules, but they're an Orwellian propaganda machine, not a news organization. MSNBC may lean as hard Left as Fucks does Right, but if anything this proves why we ALL need to fight against Fox.

Mind you, I'm a hardcore libertarian conservative, but for me to support Fucks News they'd have to actually be a news organization, not a propaganda machine.

But seriously, I like Keith Olbermann alot. I used to watch his show regularly but I don't really watch any tv these days. Anyway, he did break the rules. I'm sure he'll just think of this an extended vacation, he seems to take alot of those anyway. The guy that (used to?) fills him for him isn't THAT bad.

I'm surprised that anyone actually watches MSNBC. Keith who? If anyone actually compared the ratio of Conservative and Liberal Commentators giving opinion on MSNBC, to Fox, There's no competition. Fox wins. They always have the Left opinion on every debate that I have watched. I admit, Fox does lean to the Right, but at least they always offer the opposing opinion respectfully. Can the same be said for MSNBC? Don't think so..That's why their Ratings are in the "tank"..Sorry Lefties, but Fox News was watched by more people than the Major Networks and Cable Networks on Election Night.

Why can't you Americans have normal news? Is it so hard to have an anchor read the news for one hour like other anchors in other parts of the world? Blah blah Iran did this, the local dog can dance and now the weather. Is it so hard to have a apolitical sane media outlet in America?

It started back in the 80's with "Entertainment Tonight" when movies and celebrities and musicians started to be presented as an actual "newscast". As if how many CD's whatever artist sold or what they were wearing or who they were fucking at the time was actual "news".

Since then things have morphed into really odd directions. With the advent of 24-hour cable "news" channels anything and everything becomes a news story.

Obama has a fart cross-ways ? It's breaking news ! Then Fox "News" jumps in with some nonsense about how if Obama knew how to digest the constitution correctly he wouldn't be in such gastronomical distress and the nonsense just goes on from there.

24 hours a day.

And at least 50 percent of the country, believing that their TV's are the source of the ultimate truth coming into their living rooms buy right into it....

It's the reason we've become a laughing stock to so many other parts of the world.
