Hey people!
A while ago i came up with the idea of plastic surgery, and so far i've only talked about it with my straight friends (i'm not entirely out of the closet yet), who said if it really bugs me i should do it.
The thing is; there are 2 major issues i have with myself. No; 1 major and 1 minor issue.
The first one (the major one) is, i have a severe case of pectus excavatum. That means my chest grows inwards. I'll post a picture of that later on. There is a procedure for that, but it involves breaking my entire chest into pieces, holding it in place with metal plates for a few months, and waiting until it grows back into the right shape. I'm a bit scared for that.
The second (the minor) one is my ears. I have wide ears (image included). The correction for this is fairly simple, with a 2 day recovery period (at home), and a 1 year period of extra sensitivity. After that, they'll be normal again.
My actual question would be; is it worth it? Right now, i'm very much thinking that i should at least solve the first one, since it's a huge pain when i'm on the beach, with people looking at me. And i'm a little afraid that it'll be a turnoff for a future boyfriend...
Has anyone done any major surgery to get rid of deformities like these? Do you regret it? Was it worth it?
