She's torn a page from McCarthy's playbook. She said Obama and Democratics aren't patriotic and need to be questioned for their beliefs about this country.

Please sign the petition and join the 49,600 people plus in an attempt to force a congressional censure of her.

Ugh, as much as I despise this woman, she does have a right to Free Speech. Let her speak and hang herself with her own words. I watched this live when it happened and it seems like Matthews did a good job letting her do most of the talking for herself.

She's entitled to her opinions and to express them.

At least she's honest and forthright about what she thinks. Citizens elected her; she represents them; if her constituents disapprove of what she says, what she believes, they can vote her out.

This Obama supporter attempt to shut up people, bully them, shun them, banish them because they don't think the way you want them to is what's McCarthyish. Bush & Co tried it too.

Kinda like what you are doing now against the Obama supporters because they don't think the way you do.

Nonsense.

I've never told an Obama supporter to shut up, never shunned anyone or tried to get anybody else to shun anyone.

I support and defend everybody's right to speak freely and participate.

No one is trying to take away her right to free speech.

We're trying to hold her accountable.

You can say anything you want but you can still be fired or demoted by your employer.

True, you don't. Instead you go beyond that and cry McCarthyism to people who have opinions just as strong as your own.

So now we are to censuring thoes who question the association Sen Obama has with people who are definately anti-American? What's next public flogging for thoes that don't share your views? Or maybe the Democrats have taken a page from Genral Alfie's playbook and we'll just lock em all in a concentration camp. This is absolutely preposterous that people are not even allowed to discuss Sen Obama's close ties with Rezco and Ayres, let alone question said ties.

And you wonder why people think he has a messiah complex?

Honestly Sen Obama's followers and what they do in his name are more frightening than himself.

Then let the voters vote her out of office and "fire her" like you suggest. Nice little tidbit on the heels of her appearance on Hardball on Friday. Looks like her opponent is bringing in the dough.

But here's what really has to concern Bachmann -- in the wake of her comments, Tinklenberg has taken in more than $700,000 for his effort to defeat her.

This country has been on a quick road to Fascism under President Bush. It would be ashamed if it was the same under an Obama Administration.

That bitch on the clip just do the republican's DIRTY work.

Let's dig her closet to see what skeletons she got.

Whoah! Whoah! Free Speech should be reserved to stuff we all can agree on!

I would certainly agree that Ayers and Wright are anti-American. You can't get more opposed to your own country than bombing it and asking God to damn it.

Whether that means Obama is too is up to the listener.

how can they be anti-american if they are already american ?](*,)
its like saying me is anti-me. !!!

Jeremiah Wright is not anti-American. The guy fucking served his country and reserves the right to call the U.S. government on its bullshit. Period.

As for Ayers, who cares? The guy's probably gonna vote on Nov. 4th. What's anybody gonna do about it?

As for Bachman, leave her alone. She's gonna choke on her words in due time.

Timothy McVeigh believed he was defending America from radical federalism. In his mind he was fighting for America.

And in reality he hurt and killed people.

William Ayers had the same kind of thought process.

There's a difference between taking nonviolent action and violent action.

^ And that would be when Obama was eight years old? LOL.

Maybe you're thinking of Gordon Liddy?

Ummm...his comments are!?

Interesting. So because he served he's forever pro-American not matter what he says?

You're missing the point. It's what he is saying that is anti-American. As in against America.

He has levied a scathing critique of the foreign policies of the U.S. government that contributed to 9/11. In the example of our founding fathers, we reserve the right to call out our government on bullshit policies and practices. That's how the United States came to be; a bunch of guys calling an imperial government on its bullshit.

Reverend Wright was serving his country while Cheney was looking for ways to avoid going to war.

Why isn't Ayers in a federal prison? Why is he teaching at a public university, and getting paid by the U.S. government? I guess all those kids sitting in his class are paling around with a terrorist, too.
