I'm not sure if they showed the finale yet on NBC. Highlight if you wanna be spoiled. But Lyla ended up going to Vanderbilt. Buddy's rich brother pays for it. Matt decides to stay when he and Julie are at Mindy and Billy Riggins' wedding. I dont really like JD. I hope he remains a recurring character and not a regular. I'm gonna miss Tyra though. At first she was my least favorite. They didnt seem to know what to do with her. But she became my favorite.

Dammit!!! I intentionally did not read your spoiler as I'm watching the current NBC run of the show...so the finale was tonight. And then, forty minutes into the program, the local station goes into full-blown, non-stop weather alert coverage for the duration of the program!!!! So, I read your spoilers.... was surprised about Matt staying...what opportunities does he have in Dillion? With Lyla going to Vandy, did Riggins make a decison to stay in Dillion...suddenly, we find he has mechanical skills earlier in the show and by coincidence, his brother owns a shop. Also, did Coach keep his job? Plus, the previews showed someone's life apparently in jeopardy...what was that all about?

Yea i was disappointed with Matt's decision to stay. Hopefully he reconsiders. You have to see the scene when he tells Julie he's changed his mind on hulu or something, it's pretty fuckin adorable. Tyra gets into college. Riggins wants to stay and work at the shop but Billy tells him he wont let him and he is going to college whether he likes it or not. Coach does lose his job. After all that wheeling and dealing the did with redistricting Coach Taylor is now coaching East Dillon instead. The final scene is he and Tammy standing alone in the raggedy East Dillon field.
