That is ignorant, insulting, and cruel on so many levels, even for you.

Are you ignoring the QUOTATION MARKS in that ignorant, insulting and cruel comment on the comment I posted, which was dealing with "so many levels", that some may come to think that I was equating clinical phobias with how people may call some other people's moral attitudes?
I only said that people hating on homosexuality are deeply that way, and that considering it a "phobia" might not only be insulting towards their own nature, by considering that so-called "homophobia" can be "treated' and "cured" like some others think of homosexuality, but it might also be insulting towards those afflicted with any phobia or disorder. Of course, I might just be wrong and there is actually such a thing as homo"phobia", but my main point would still remain, to wit, that they are born that way... only that it implies social complications of assholessness.

He was calling for big time terrorism, which is commonly called "war" by those who want to go all the way for it, that is, the government of a country: if you are a national they call it a coup, putsch... if you are a foreigner, it is an invasion and, of course, it is always right if you are wacko enough or, obviously" if you get away with it.

What's frightening is that 'evangelical' preachers will make these very points in sermons and the people will nod their agreement, but the moment they step into the secular world they become what's in the cartoon -- and by "they" I don't mean just the listeners but also those preachers themselves. And it's not uncommon for such a preacher to maintain that politics isn't subject to those ethics.

A lot of the cartoons that I post, I post because of the quality of the art work and the creativeness of the messaging, whether I agree with it or not.

This particular cartoon was one that I chose specifically for the message.

I haven't finished reading the subtitles, I hope he somehow points out at the brilliant Churchills and supposed defendants of Western civilization believing that the proper way to achieve their goal was to give support to even the most fundamentalist of traditionalisms in the East, in order to counter the expansion of socialism... as it has bloomed in the West in the past seven decades.
