Oh, it's been widely reported Eric Trump stole from a children's charity. The cartoon pooh-poohs Biden family members profiting from real-or-imagined deals, definitely less egregious.
 
I don't know if anyone in Biden's family made money off of their name, it's apparent that the 'Pubs don't have anything criminal with which to accuse any of them though.

I hadn't heard that the Toad's spawn was stealing from kids. That's particularly nasty.

There's a long tradition of politicians' families trafficking off their relative's name. Remember Billy Beer? If a devout Christian like Jimmy Carter can have unseemly family members profiting off his name, anyone can. Even a sullied name like "Nixon" was exploited by Richard Nixon's brothers.

And it's not illegal to do so.

However, in the past 30 years, it's gone into overdrive. And when a President gets elected whose name is already a "brand", you can imagine how far the exploitation of the family name will go. There was even a book written about it in 2018:

Jim Comer has been doing frequent appearances on the Fox Propaganda talking about Hunter Biden. There was even a recent appearance where he was bragging that his Hunter Biden investigation was responsible for lowering Joe Biden's poll numbers (think: Benghazi).






It is a weakness for Biden that his brother and one of his sons had foreign entanglements. It also makes it difficult to investigate the Trump family and particular, Jared's financial dealings in the middle east.

Sen Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) is one to watch. A couple of weeks ago, he threatened to fight a representative of a labor union who was testifying in front of a Senate committee. My money would be on the union guy.
 
As much as I've complained about stupid republican Missouri politics, and the fascism, and the idiotic laws, the ridiculous nonsense, .... sometimes there can be a bright spot with our representatives in many ways. They are all on recess now. My Senator is a good guy! Not gay, but very supportive and fights against all the stupidity.
