Political Cartoons, Memes & Amusing Videos

A lot of truth to this.

It is how it works for many of us in Canada where elction campaigns aren't years long and we don't care about what television has to tell us about them anyway.

Whoever wrote that does not get that campaigns are not specifically catered to them, just like "democracy" is not for "sound, rational" people: it's all about the third of the population who needs "reality" drama in their TV, shocking news, soap and competition in their lives, and who needs to be told what to buy next or where to transfer their fidelity, money, business and souls for the next campaign of whatever is being sold next.

Like that were wrong, it is rather a nice form of praise, coming from the left... put Ru Paul and Joaquin Phoenix, and it would be just as weird.
I somehow doubt that RuPaul or Phoenix will be running for the Oval Office like these 2 sideshow barkers.

Like them, surely not

Until some fifteen years ago, people somehow doubted that Trump or a couch-fucker would be running for ruling the greatest nation on Earth and History, backed by almost half the American electors.

Gawd, if only.

Why can't someone at the top push this in a Senate bill? The Oval Office cannot, else it would look like an unfair attempt to impair the party out of office.

But, wouldn't it be wonderful if a campaign reform bill could be bundled with the SCOTUS resolutions to limit the presidential race? That alone would save so many of us.

I counted up today, and I start not turning on the radio to and from work about five months preceding the presidential election, as it's just going to be endless spinning and bullshit and not news.

"It's not politics, people and democracy, it's [big] business, stupids!"

The funny part is not that grazing the outer part of the ear is considered "being shot in the head", but that Trump's head is not a vital point...
