The pharmaceutical companies have filed lawsuits claiming the IRA provision is unconstitutional. And Republicans have said they plan on repealing the IRA which means that Medicare would no longer be able to negotiate for reduced drug prices for Medicare recipients (something that almost every country other than the US does for their socialized health insurance).

After the bankruptcy, the name "Bed, Bath and Beyond" was bought by Overstock.com. The founder and former CEO of Overstock.com, Patrick M Byrne, is a right wing conspiracy nutjob with a lot of money that he has used to back Trump and other fringe causes. Byrne ended up resigning as the CEO of Overstock.com after several scandals, including a "relationship" with Russian spy Maria Butina. After he got the boot from Overstock, Byrne gave interviews where he said that he as part of the Deep State and that Hillary Clinton had ordered him to engage in the relationship with Butina.

After Butina was deported back to Russia, she became a talk show host in Russia. Byrne has continued his relationship with Butina and was alleged to have been supporting her financially.




Byrne is now involved in crypto and other sketchy financial dealings.

If someone were to pitch the stories of these horny old MAGA guys as a movie, it's unlikely that anyone would finance the project because the plot sounds too ridiculous to be believable.

He should check out things where I am. The grocery store down the street can't get enough people to fill its positions, so they keep increasing the starting pay. It's up to $16.50 now and they just managed to hire one person. Meanwhile the Burger King down the highway is paying $18.50 an hour and finally got its staff filled again.
