Trump being scum doesn't make him a pedo. Being on the Epstein list makes them Johns, not pedophiles. I have heard of no one allegedly using Epstein to procure a physical, sexual child. Legal age limits do not define pedophilia. If they were gay, they'd be chicken hawks. Not the same thing at all.

And it does matter. That dozens or hundreds of "victims" sought settlements from a billionaire in no way establishes that they performed sex unwillingly. That's something we'll never know since trials were not conducted.

Trump's MAGAts made the sex crime the worst because they need the cover up to be the worst, not merely situational normal with rich men screwing young women.

You might want to check your legal standing. Having sex with a minor doesn't make you a "john". It makes you a sex offender and a rapist.

If the person you had sex with is 13 years or younger, it makes you a pedophile, according to the APA definition.

The use of "survivors" implies some were killed or killed themselves. Who were they?

Society knows the difference between pedophiiles and lechers.

The attraction isn't based on age but development.

Already made the distinction between statutory rape and forcible assault. They are legal distinctions for punishment, not sexual.

The whole hysteria about supposed pedophilia is detrimental to the left. By exaggerating the crimes, it makes the left look too desperate to cling to anything that could possibly inflale the population, when literally nothing could get Trump's chickenshit drones in the Senate to convict him if impeached.

And all of that before you address the reality that maybe a handfulf of early teens may have been among the dozens and dozens of likely gold-diggers who were older and sexually active.

I think what Trump is afraid of is the pedophilia aspect here. The appearance of that is what would certainly sink him.
And I think its ok to be hysterical about powerful adults having sex with underage girls whatever you call it.

I used to think that, which is why I dismissed the stories as being part of the QAnon paranoia.

Now that I'm reading the Miami Herald's articles and paying attention to Sen Ron Wyden's investigations, I think this is also about financial crimes - money and money-laundering, for example. The constant mention of cameras all over the interior of Epstein's homes also hints that blackmail and extortion may be at play. And of course, there's Russian connections, as there so often is.

All of these can be true- crimes of sex trafficking, sexual predation, sexual assault and whatever financial crimes involving Trump's big donors that Republicans are trying to cover up.

Now the question becomes "What did Trump know and when did he know it?".
