One branch of the NRA has been running a program to arm and train black people since at least 2012 (that's when I became aware of it).

BTW, since that shooting three NRA members I know have switched to being Libertarian because of what some GOP politicians had to say -- not much, but every little bit helps!

The NRA has long had a cohort that approved of the "Deacons for Defense" even if they weren't that thrilled about Malcolm X. I was actually more surprised when the "Goldwater" cohort convinced the board that Chris Cheng should be approached to be a representative.

Correct. A large collection of guns is someone's "thing" whether we like it or not. Also, they are trolling by displaying them like that.
