That's funny. I think it misses the mark though. The problem with environmentalism and toxic masculinity is that environmentalism requires Rambo to be prudent, share, be considerate, conserve, and compromise. Try selling any of that to a bunch of entitled White, American cosplay commandos.
 
^I like the cartoon because it picks up on something that has largely been bubbling below the surface, but it's there. The artist reimagined how applying machismo to environmental issues could play out differently, and that's what appeals to me. That might not be the way it plays out in real life, but sometimes it's good to be given a glimpse of a different world. Not to mention that it points out how limited the anti-environmentalist arguments really are.

I think the military should be involved...round them all up and take control of the red states.
