Phil Murphy (NJ governor) is a pretty reasonable guy. He has some really good, serious House members that he can chose from who would be great Senators- Mikie Sherrill and Frank Pallone in particular, would likely carry a statewide election (and would likely beat Menendez if it requires a primary to get rid of him).
I think Andy Kim had already planned on running against Menendez but I'm not sure Kim is that strong of a candidate for a statewide race?
