No, not actually selling opinions, he does not care specifically about ideas, values, reason, this or that politics: he just plays opposing whatever is in place... that is why he will be all for something for as long as it is just hot air, a possibility, a hope... once it becomes present, he turns for more hot air, new possibilities, new hopefulness.
He would be good at it if he didn't give a specific support for anything or anyone, if he just kept prattling vacuous generalities, balking at any candidate or political action... but once he appeared to back what he fights against the next day, his game becomes too clumsily obvious.
