I’ve had a 10.6% ROR over the last year. It was only 1.3% for the last month, I’m not ready to jump out a window yet, and think the market will return to its previous highs if Harris gets elected.

One thing that has been getting a lot of discussion the past couple of weeks is how dysfunctional the American Press has become. There's been examples of how every stumble by Biden gets days of Press obsession with the same clips being repeated multiple times. Meanwhile, Trump has been babbling like a mental case for years and the attitude is, "Oh, that's Trump being Trump".

They even showed some clips of the Press (who are literally flying on her plane) asking Harris questions about whatever crazy thing Trump said about her that day. No substantive questions about world events or governmental issues that she would be dealing with. Everything they are asking Harris is in a Trump frame.

And this is currently the headline on CNN. It's like a mud-slinging fest and the Press is busy mixing the dirt and water to keep it going.


A similar dysfunction happened with the market correction last week. In the month of July, stocks jumped up in value for no good reason. This week, there was a 1 day correction where the market dropped about 2% in value. The headlines made it sound like the it was the beginning of a recession.

That cartoon captures exactly what the Press made last week sound like. And when the economic sky didn't fall at the end of the week, the Press just went back to the Trump meltdown of the day.
