Since Obama was re-elected in 2014, the GQP seems to have doubled down on getting the stupidest and most corrupt sociopaths and grifters running for election in the US.
At this point, they are fucking shameless about it. And 2016 to 2020 was a golden age for all the trolls and lurkers to crawl out from under the bridges and the mud and find the Trump base slavering to put one of their own into power.
But Robinson does almost belong in a class by himself.
He is so much like the kind of utterly amoral, hypocritical monster like the dictators who run the tin-pot African failed states...who think their personal life is beyond scrutiny and reproach but with carnal appetites that would make Caligula blush and a kind of hyper-testosterone hyper macho persona that I assume indicates a lesion on the brain.
