Nailed it. We all absolutely feel betrayed. Again. This isn't just about tariffs. This is about the entire relationship between sovereign nations fundamentally and permanently changing for the worse.

I understand from some in the research fields that the Universities are making overtures to American scientists. There is also an expectation that some of the drug companies may shift their research to Canada and Europe if grad students are given opportunities at universities with medical science expertise ( like UofT and McGill)
