Who would even notice the crap over Rubio's body language. He's surrounded by sychophants and he's hating every waking moment for selling out and serving Trump. He knows his career ended when he reached his top appointment but is glued to the biggest clown US history will ever know.

The other two having toady grins is almost staged in contrast to his self-hatred, only exceeded by his hatred for Trump.

Trump and MAGA really do not support public education at all.

They fully plan to undermine it and pave the way for more and more parochial schools, a new kind of segregation of the classroom between dogma and the poor, as wealthy students will go to private academies. So, segregation won't be racial, but economic and doctrinal. And gays will be excluded.

But, funding of teachers will remain a local decision, based upon local districts willing to tax citizens or not. Federal funds are not the primary funding mechanisms for American schools. What they are, is incentivizers to get more equitable education across poor districts and rich ones.

The federal government subsidizes poor districts much more heavily, but states absolutely can and should take up that role if the fed is going to walk away. And no, there won't be parity, but there isn't parity now, so . . .
