Wow. I've seen gulls and some other birds take things high and drop them to kill or open them, but I didn't know eagles did it.

You perhaps mean Sir David Attenborough. Although he did film subjects early, his chief work has been as presenter of nature series.

I'm sure folklore will reveal this to be true. It is illogical to suggest eagles only recently evolved the intelligence to knock a heavy goat off a cliff. It stands to reason that a human or two has been so attacked in the mountains before. Make that a very surprised human.

The fact that it didn't ask if it would like to be food, or at least give the goat a list of way that it could die so the guy could at least have a CHOICE in his last moments.

I mean, the nerve of an animal for acting like an animal. The absolute tragedy of it all.
