It was 7 am and we had just won an overnight volleyball tournament. We were playing since 8:30 pm. Needless to say, I was exhausted, as shown in the pic.

You played with clothes on?

Old & newer shirt.

New bedroom and oversize nose

Don't knock your nose, Joswan. It fits your face and I don't think there is a soul who looks at you and finds fault with it.

Nice ficus, btw.

As of this evening about an hour ago. I had to make a Safeway run for some milk. Ger without tea is not a pleasant person to be around.

^ Hi, nice picture :)

I take milk and sugar in my tea. Without milk, I don't have tea... unless it's green or white.

It seems a common thing by a quick google search but I didn't know about mixing milk and tea. Do you boil milk as well?

If I were making hot chocolate from scratch, I would heat the milk to a simmer and then use it. To date, I've never had any reason to boil milk. :)

My maternal grandparents looked after me a lot. My grandfather was Scottish, having been born in Glasgow. My Grandmother was born in Port Elizabeth in South Africa of English lineage. At their place, it was tea for breakfast, dinner, supper, and around 9:00 pm when the national news came on. They always took their tea with milk and sugar and that's pretty much all I drank when there... so, it's habit when I use a black tea... which I do pretty much all the time.

This is my infuser which I use with a loose leaf black tea. :)

I normally add a splash of coffee to the milk (a.k.a. latte macchiato) and heat it during winter because I keep it in the fridge.
I've never thought about the milk and tea combination and I'm wondering what it might taste like. Milk is more "dense" than tea, do they blend well? And what are the proportions?

There are some people who take cream in their tea. I find cream a bit heavy and can overpower the tea... especially if it's a weaker brew. I let mine steep for about four minutes or longer as I like a fairly strong brew. They blend fine. As to proportions, it's all a matter of taste. Some people like more, some like less. That's true of the amount of sugar one uses as well, and some people prefer honey over sugar and others like using a light or dark brown sugar.

Basically, it all comes down to personal taste and preference though I am pretty fussy about how the tea is brewed. :)

I prefer my black tea with milk and sugar. So, no milk or sugar in the house makes for an unhappy Ger. I don't necessarily care if I eat during the day, but I DO need my tea. I drink enough of it that if I don't have my daily allotment, I can get a caffeine withdrawal headache and those are no fun. :)

I bet a nice clothing-optional massage session would revitalize
