Post something just for the heck of it

I was reading that the huge cargo ship stuck in the Suez Canal will unleash a world wide toilet paper shortage!

What will happen to me on stuffed cabbage night?

*squeals with horror*

How the hell didn't I know Daniel Radcliffe was Jewish?

Radcliffe came from a mixed religious background, with his mother's side of the family being Jewish, and his father being a Protestant from Northern Ireland. Several years ago there was a picture going around the internet, of Radcliffe from the nude scene in Equus. It is clear that he was uncut.

He has variously made statements about the family being "Christmas tree Jews," nonreligious, being proudly Jewish, atheist, and agnostic at different times. This is what the Wikipedia article says about him:

In a 2012 interview, Radcliffe stated: "There was never [religious] faith in the house. I think of myself as being Jewish and Irish, despite the fact that I'm English."[15] He has stated: "We were Christmas tree Jews,"[147] and that he is "very proud of being Jewish".[139][148] In 2012, Radcliffe was quoted as saying: "I'm an atheist, and a militant atheist when religion starts impacting on legislation,"[149] though in a 2009 interview, he stated, "I'm very relaxed about [being an atheist]. I don't preach my atheism, but I have a huge amount of respect for people like Richard Dawkins who do. Anything he does on television, I will watch."[150][151] In a 2019 interview, Radcliffe described himself as "agnostic leaning toward atheism".[152]

Politicians do not "treat us like idiots": they depend on pressing the idiocy switch on as much people as they can, and those with the 'idiot' switch in a different location are the ones perpetually complaining about "politicians treating them like idiots". Those who do not fit in either group just :corn:

UNRELATED TO THE ABOVE

I love you people who feel the need to feel victimized whenever someone tries to make some sense by saying why he disagrees, instead of merely throwing the dumb "I disagree" or "that's your opinion".

I merely responded to your comment that you could not recall right away any film appearance by Tallulah, and to your claim that the most memorable thing you find about her is her name, that Tallulah Bankhead starred in one of the most memorable Hitchcock films of the 1940s, "Lifeboat", and in one relatively minor film of one of the most memorable Hollywood directors, Ernst Lubitsch.

Now you can say that, apart from her name, the only memorable thing about Tallulah and her film career is having been directed by a couple of Hollywood legends LOL.
