^ the reason why I’ve quit posting in most every thread in HT I guess this is going to be another one.

^ Do more as I do: I have quit posting in most every thread outside HT, and then I only usually post on the same four or five.

I so hate it when the last day of holidays you find yourself thinking there is still so much left to do...  at least that didn't happen in any of the other days in which you found yourself in the exact same situation during the holidays

I hate coming to the end of summer having gotten almost nothing done at my house that was planned, because of an ungrateful jerk who overstayed his welcome by more than a year -- and forty days after being escorted from the property by sheriff's personnel still hasn't gotten his stuff!

^ You have some bonfire tradition for Halloween or some upcoming date in that part of the world?

Overall, I am quite satisfied... in a way it went better than planned, and I hope the next month will continue at this pace... even if I have to waste a bit more time stepping out more often in the street.

^ What are you going to do with his stuff? Do you have a place to store it? I assume it isn't appropriate to trash it.

I had an outside wall to finish re-doing, and a yard to add topsoil to and level, and some concrete pads to pour for some landscaping retaining walls....

^ You didn't say if you are going to burn up that trash that guy left you, but since you didn't answer Rickrock either...

Buenas tardes.

Good job, cut-and-paste-nip&tuck Google Translate :telstra: "Dogmatic lies for the indoctrinated are simple and short, exposing them takes a bit longer.

I am not "anti-Christian", and precisely because I am Catholic I express myself like this: I am anti-Christian."

That should be rather: "I am against quackers."

Legally I can't touch it for another 19 days. Then I have to store it safely for another thirty.

Though my roommate came up with an idea today: we slide a sheet of plywood under his tent and stuff, use that to lift it off the porch and onto a pallet, put a tarp over the pallet, and then ask where he'd like the whole thing delivered.

More craziness: he says he's going to sue me for $30k for keeping him from getting his stuff -- but the sheriff's department says he hasn't made the first move to try to get any of it! (He has to go through them to be able to come to the property, and they've been waiting for his call... not a peep.)
