Post something just for the heck of it

Just tested the superglue plus baking soda thing.

Have a 1-liter garden sprayer that either froze with something in the bottom of it, or I dropped it sometime last year. It had a 1-inch crack along the bottom shoulder of the bottle. So, it will be interesting to see if the glue seals it, especially once it is under pressure. I'll obviously test with plain water first.
I am pleased to report that the method works perfectly. The bottle sealed and I used it today.

And, I mended a large terra cotta water catcher that had broken in two. I love saving things from ruin.

Seeing Atlanta's water crisis on the news makes me ill. What a sad state. Cities have such a headache trying to maintain major infrastructure systems, and even when they do their best, the size and age of such systems just get out of hand.

Gas explosions, water main breaks, and electrical grid failures. Every major city in my area seems to have had a crisis in the past few years.

I feel for their residents and for the governments.
