That's not how foreign aid generally works.

But, in the instances where we feed famine victims, or distribute HIV meds, then we knowingly do so and we elect Congressional representatives who supported those initiatives, overwhelmingly.

What we didn't get to do, is object to paying high taxes for military-industrial complex's bloat, cloaked in santimony of "national defense" when it is actually hidden pork to enrich fatcat stockholders and corporate execs who make a killing off our wages and taxes.

Our taxes are too high because there is an inequitable tax model that makes the rich richer and asks working class Americans to pay for the rich.
