I would actually wet it on a daily basis but that's only because I dried the area and reapplied neosporin every time also. My stitches became a bother a couple days after surgery. Yes the sensitivity of the head takes a bit to get used too. I kept mine covered for most of the first 3 weeks. After that It wasn't as bad and I let it all hang out .

Now close to 2 months after the surgery everything seems soo distant, I'm so grateful I'm over all those days and nights that were so stressful.

Yayy So glad to hear the healing went nicely. From the pics and your clear attention to aftercare, I'm not the least bit surprised. Oh! And I'm glad that link helped you out a little, back there.

Congrats!! Nothing like a very private, surgical procedure to enlighten our perspectives. (I've been battling genital warts for about a year now ).

Just curious - and I hope this doesn't seem too random - but what physical differences have you noticed? Meaning: with foreskin, folks say that the penis is more sensitive - well since you've lived most of your life with foreskin - but now it's gone - I wonder if you've got an extra, delightfully-sensitive cockhead? Hmm... It certainly looks nice and shiny! Or is it less sensitive?

Yeah I'm pretty happy with it now that I don't have to worry about all that pain and stress that came along with it.
I'm sorry to hear about your warts, I have a friend going through something similar.
Its VERY sensitive during the first couple of weeks. Right now its at a comfortable tolerable level. I can't tell if its going to stay as sensitive as it is now or decrease. It feels more sensitive when I am erect and a little bit afterwards also which does tend to make any type of activity with it more pleasurable

Based on your experience, what would you tell someone who was considering this procedure? I don't mean for medical reasons like yours - but because they thought it might make their sex life better or they just had the preference to be circumsized? Do you wish for the old days - or are you happier now overall?

I think that people like yourself have a unique vantage point because you've grown up one way - but are now living a different way. Of course, that being said, your sensitivity will be heightened more than someone who has been circumcised since childhood.
