I attended a custom car show in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1978.

Someone drove in a custom Pierce-Arrow Sport Sedan that had a roof treatment similar to this Duesenberg. Packard and Pierce-Arrow buyers often wanted custom coachbuilders to copy Duesenberg designs with the results being rare one-off models that tried to capture the beauty of a classic Duesenberg - but there's no substitute for the real thing.

Can't find photos of the custom Pierce-Arrow I saw at the Scottsdale Auto Show, but here's a Pierce-Arrow Standard Club Sedan for reference.
