president Obama and transgender bathroom controversy

Is it possible that your allegations, that President Obama has exceeded his Constitutional authority is not true, and therefore not an item on the Republicans agenda?

While the Republicans believe that Mr. Obama has exceeded his constitutional authority, they have chosen to challenge him in the courts. As you may know, they have won federal court challenges to his executive actions on both enforcement of immigration law and changes to the law that authorized Obamacare.

Their unsuccessful Clinton impeachment hearings were an electoral disaster for them, so I doubt they will attempt to bring Obama to trial as well.

It's important to remember than reasonable men can differ on these matters.

One case does not an argument, make.

Were we to consider all transgender people potential sexual predators, it could also be argued that all heterosexual male school teachers are potential predators, suggesting that they should not be teaching pupils of the opposite sex.

It is delusional paranoia at its most insane, when believing that transgender people when granted rights to use the rest rooms of the gender they identify with, are overnight transformed into potential sex maniacs.
Remember that I was responding to frankfrank's delusional paranoia that from now on transgender people will be beaten when they use the bathrooms designated for their biological sex. Never mind that men have been restricted to the men's rooms since time immemorial. I responded that it was MORE LIKELY that women will be raped by boys/men with whom they will be forced to share showers, bath room, and dressing rooms. Remember that transgendered men are not neccessarlly gay. Many are still arrracted to women, and if Obama prevailes, they will now be able to lurk in women's rooms, disguised as women, waiting to pounce. Sure, some rapes will occur, but ,hey, political correctness is more important and the transgendered will vote democrat.

There is nothing to stop this exact thing from happening now. Any guy could put on women's clothing and use the women's washroom if they were intent on raping a woman.

Your delusional paranoia and fearmongering is bizarre beyond the extreme.

Somehow other countries seem to get along just fine. What is it that makes the US populace so unable to cope with these types of accommodations?

Thank you for pointing out that not every one who puts on a dress to lurk in the womens room is trans. But in Obamanation, it is a Constitutional right and it is politically incorrect for women to object.

The difference between the bible bashing south and the rest of the civilized world.

http://www.justusboys.com/forum/threads/449426-Canada-to-Protect-Transgender-People

The "Bible-Bashing South" has it's own rules and societal conventions, just like other places. You follow those rules and you're fine. Just ask Miss Lindsay, if you follow the rules, the "Bible Bashing South" can be incredibly tolerant of your gay Senatorial ass.

Part of the problems with this situation is people who demand the South change while doing their level best to insult and alienate everyone in it. Why should the South listen to people who don't bother to hide their hatred?

If you want the South to change - you'll need to give it a reason to listen to you. Anyway the south is changing, slowly over time, you won't recognize the generation after this one - my young cousins and nieces and nephews are so gay positive as to shame a Canadian Communist.

So you cite a woman who was not a victim of sexual violence by a transsexual as proof.

I think her position is false.
A sex offender can already monitor a women's restroom from outside to determine whether a potential victim would be alone in there. Just as they can any place.
Dressing up as a woman would make zero difference.

She's connecting trans people with sex offenders by association. People who hate the former can't help but agree.

The same arguments are made against gays by those who cite the threat of pedophiles. It's dishonest and evil.

I do find it funny that apparently Ben and his ilk are unaware that Trans people are pissing right next to them all the time, and the horrible rapes and murders don't seem to be occurring.

That's exactly the idiocy of the Republican position.

Apparently, according to their logic, rapes are being stopped on a daily basis by a completely unenforced "rule" that men cannot enter the women's restroom.

Rapists don't follow the law, or any norms of civilized behavior, but they do observe gender restrictions on entering restrooms. That's what Republicans apparently think we're all stupid enough to believe. (Granted, the people who elect them into office ARE this stupid, so I guess they're half-right when they assume we're all this stupid.)

But of course, we assume logic is anything but window dressing for Republicans. Obama is for this, so it's wrong.

Remember gays in the military - exact same argument. If you allow gay men in the military they'll be SUCKING COCK IN THE FOXHOLES!!!!!

All presidents do executive orders---a group of historians I heard on the subject said the repubs were really dumb by not cooperating NOT ONE BIT on anything-- on what hundreds of millions Americans voted for when they voted for Obama. He had two choices--do nothing and remain the repubs house n-word. Or do executive orders. The reason they were stupid the historians reasoned was if they had engaged Obama like the constitution says they are supposed to---they would have gotten some of what they wanted on an issue. By doing nothing they forced Obamas hand----and then turned his "imperial" presidency into raw meat for their base. The black president is out of control crap---yeah bush-cheny didn't act like they were the two moron kings of the country for 8 years under the guise of emergency measures after 9/11. And the dems didn't block everything those two morons wanted---the comparison to what these hillbillies are doing to Obama--including the blatant disrespect for the man---isn't even remotely similar.

It's a cheap win-win as far as tea party types are concerned:
Cooperate and seek compromise to pass laws voted for through the president's mandate = president is a sell out.
Block everything and crash the country = president is ineffective.
Block everything and force his hand to use executive power for things as mundane as hicks banning black people from using white drinking fountains (the toilet debate is no different) = president is a dictator.

It's dumb, but that's the vote they're chasing.

Re: Caitlyn could be Bruce again.

Morning Pat.
Pray tell what the above post has to do with this topic? Unless you are insinuating that Caitlyn is someone who would be hanging out at the public bogs just waiting to pounce?

As for you calling other members bigots, looked in the mirror lately?

Have a nice day now.

Re: Caitlyn could be Bruce again.

:(

I foolishly attempted to follow this debate here—
http://www.justusboys.com/forum/thr...oom-controversy/page2?p=10311850#post10311850

But it wasn't a debate at all. It was the usual spewing out of knee-jerk ad-hominem remarks.

A group of middle-aged bigots and old bigots telling teenagers what they should be thinking and feeling.

:(

CE&P is more strict when it comes to rules than Hot Topics and I am pretty sure that includes dragging a thread topic from there to here just to insult people just because you can't do it there.

I mean if you want to insult people, you might as well go and do it there because that is all they do there anyway.

Re: Caitlyn could be Bruce again.

Well Grimshaw....you do know that snakes aren't slimy, don't you?

As for it being a snake pit...let's be clear here. You neither have the courage or the intellectual discipline to take part in any discussions there. You've been chased out of there previously because of your sloppy, racist 'arguments'.

So you lurk in the threads in HT in order to smear your filth.

At least you are fairly well boxed in.

Re: Caitlyn could be Bruce again.

Ah! So you do agree with my assessment of that place being a slimy Snake Pit.

I don't think it is a slimy snake pit, I think there are a couple good users but the rest that frequent generally resort to insulting or picking a target that is easier to argue against.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/18/u...o-spot-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news

From today's New York Times: naïve, seemingly sweet, green and blue and yellow-haired girl who wants to be a boy, uses the boys' bathroom at her Vermont high school, even though the high school already has a gender neutral bathroom that she could easily use but cares not to.

This has led to much controversy in the school and surrounding community. There are (can you imagine?) high school boys who don't want to be pissing around a girl. Enormous selfishness on her part. The gender-neutral bathrooms that many of you are proposing is not enough for her. She wants only to be with the guys.

Perhaps it's not enough for the Obama administration either.

I can easily imagine this sort of idiocy leading to the bathroom rape of a hopelessly misguided girl by a resentful guy, all because she has been led to believe she's entitled to piss with the boys rather than the girls.
