President Obama it is!

I'm 44 and have never voted other than Democratic all of my life. But Obama is a putz. He doesn't have the experience to lead this nation. He's just another silly politician cashing in on his novelty. I was raised a pagan but never turned on my own religion. If you turn on your own beliefs, like Obama did, you really can't be trusted to stand for anything. And yes, he turned on his beliefs. You don't sit in a church for 20 years listening to Liberation theology and then decide one day you disagree.......when it conveniently will cost you votes.

America needs a third party so very badly.

That's a very closed minded position.

I sat in church for 20 years as a evangelical/born again Christian.

Then I went to college, now I'm an agnostic. Education will do wonders for dispelling religious dogma. Obama is well educated. Not that surprising imo.

I am the same as you.

Was a Roman Catholic by default, by my family.

Now Agnostic.

How about ABC, then?

I'm kind of liking ABC right now. :D

They have Texas going for McCain at 51%, and Obama at 49%, but Dallas County is going Democrat for the first time in nearly 12 years! :gogirl:

The only county that went Democrat in 2004 by the same margins was Travis County, which also happens to be where the city of Austin is located. (!)

Red and Blue make purple? ;)

Obama is also ahead in Ohio right now.

So he's ahead in Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina.

I'm waiting for CNN to call Ohio for Obama! PLEASE???

Could this be WHY the Virginia vote doesn't look as favorable as all the polls, pundits and forecasts said?

Virginia 46 of 134 counties and independent cities use DRE

Sequoia AVC Advantage and AVC Edge, Hart Intercivic eSlate, ES&S, Unilect, Advanced Voting Solutions

No voter-verifiable paper with DRE

CNN has a "major projection" after the break they just went into. Ohio??? Florida???

CNN hasn't called it yet, but I'LL call it...OHIO!!! Cuyahoga's [Cleveland and many suburbs] vote isn't in yet, and Obama is well ahead without those votes. (Cincinnati isn't in yet either, though, and they're much more conservative...)

[edit]: BREAK OUT THE DRINKS!!! CNN HAS CALLED OHIO!!! THIS IS HUGE

Virginia would be nice, and it's still probable for Obama but getting Ohio just about assures an Obama win. When Obama can give his acceptance speech, what a proud moment for America that will be!Yes,we can?Yes,we did!..|

I'm not breaking out the champagne yet.

And California is still voting for another 3 hours. I really don't want a winner called before the polls close there. Need as many Democrats as possible to keep voting there.

California will almost surely vote for the Democrats so...
