Pro Wrestling Talk

I mainly follow TNA because of DJ Z.

Who in the world would want to buy that train wreck?

Vince McMahon put a bid in to purchase it. He probably wants it because it would benefit the wwe network to add their content to their library.

TNA was good a long time ago, but I always thought it went downhill after they brought Hulk Hogan in.

I couldn't agree with you more. There entire partnership was confusing from the start since in NXT Dana's main goal when she started was to take down Charlotte as the top woman and then on RAW suddenly they're friends. But I hope Emma returns soon and brings something exciting to the division.

Well, I was hoping she would have returned this week on Raw but I think they might be unsure on which show to put her on.

The WWE just wants it for it's tape library, but I feel bad for all the talent that will be unemployed.

I was reading last night that TNA apparently doesn't have any money to broadcast Bound for Glory (their biggest PPV of the year) and they also don't have enough money for anymore TV Tapings. So Vince most likely wants TNA for their library of old matches for the network so they can show how AJ Styles started and Austin Aries etc. Also Billy Corgan wants it but they said it takes a couple weeks to work out a deal like this, so we'll see. But there's also rumors that TNA is finished but we'll just see what happens.

Vince would probably also employ some of the stars from there. I hear WWE already want Matt and Jeff Hardy back and they really wanted the Broken Matt Hardy gimmick.

Some of the women in TNA are really talented and I wasn't a fan of Maria during her time with WWE but I've actually enjoyed her bitchy heel gimmick in TNA.

About 18 mins. ago, TNA posted a video on Youtube confirming that the Bound for Glory ppv. will air on Sunday night; also confirmed, the debut of "Cody."

Okay so good they can air their biggest PPV, it wouldn't be good if they couldn't.
OMG if by Cody you mean Cody Rhodes then I'm more likely going to watch it, but we'll see, I'm so excited for Cody.

Apparently Ric Flair has said that WWE isn't interested in purchasing TNA at all and if they were it'll just be for the video library.
He also said that Dixie Carter made up the rumor about WWE being interested in purchasing the company.

^^ That was a fascinating article! Thanks so much for posting.

I have to agree with pretty much everything said about TNA in the link.

This article is so true. TNA should've never tried to compete with WWE and become WWE/WCW. They should've continued making the X-Division and Knockouts division be a big part of the company since that's what people liked and what made people want to watch TNA. Also I have no idea why the would even give Hulk Hogan creative control since he only cares about himself and makes decisions to only benefit himself.

I'm so happy that Sasha Banks' is champion again. I had a feeling that there was going to be some fuckery and she'd lose but nope, she won and I marked. I love her. The match was great with awesome performances by both women, and I felt it was deserving of the main event (Their match on the 1st Post Draft Raw should have been the ME too imo). The Boss is still the Best (and the true Queen of the women's division) and now, hopefully, this reign will last much longer than the first.

I was life at the Staples Center here in L.A. and saw this huge title match take place. The crowd popped loud when she won't the title. Great match and credit needs to be given also to Charlotte who also put on a great performance. Bravo.

I decided to watch Bound For Glory mainly for the Hardyz vs Decay (Great War Match), Cody Rhodes debuting and Gail Kim being inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Great War match was pretty good how they fought around Universal Studios and it was good how Rosemary and Reby got involved as well. Gail Kim's HOF moment was very much deserved and it was great to see Taryn Terrell, Awesome Kong and Christy Hemme come back to say a few words for Gail and her speech was good as well. Her match with Maria for the title wasn't very good or long as well as Maria isn't a very good wrestler but she did do a good spine-buster. But I'm glad Gail won. Also both Cody and his wife debuted and it's so good to see him as Cody again and not Stardust. I look forward to seeing his feud against Mike Bennett.

I'm happy that Sasha has won the Women's Championship back in the main event on RAW, it was good how they talked about the history between Charlotte and Sasha from all the way back in NXT to now. It was also good that Dana wasn't at ringside so they could have a one on one match with no interference. However I do feel as though their first match when Charlotte first one the title was better than this one as I feel Charlotte carried this match. But still yay for Sasha.

That was a good main event last night. Raw was pretty decent.

So Emma's coming back with a new name.

Sasha and Charlotte are putting on some good matches. I think they'll probably have another one at Hell in a Cell.

Yeah they most likely will have another match at Hell in a Cell to end the feud for now.

I think it's time for the women to have the first ever Hell In The Cell match but something big needs to happen. They need Charlotte to attack Sasha and just have them go at it while people try to separate them but no one could stop them. Maybe even have Charlotte put Sasha through a table but at the end Charlotte needs to be left standing. It's time to have these women have stipulations matches when it matters, and I think right now it matters. Something like this.
