Alright guys what did everyone think of the first episode? Gotta say I have a huge crush on Robert, the Barbie guy, he's such a hottie and I really loved his dress. I think it's gonna be a really good season!
 
I watch this show for the drama...not so much the fashion. I have no fashion sense. Everything I saw tonight looked like crap.

At this early stage in the season there are too many characters to really get an idea of who's capable of doing/creating what...another episode or 2 and I'll start to learn their names and get a sense of their personalities and styles. They certainly picked a very diverse group. I wasn't overly impressed with any one of them as of yet...but I get the impression they were selected based more on personalities and quirkiness than their fashion design capabilities.

I do like the redheaded architect lady...she seems like she'll be cool and funky but with style. The guy with the tattooed neck kind of freaked me out a bit...as much as I like tats...all those words written on his neck are distracting and make his neck look huge...and his style seems too similar to Santino's...which is sooo 2005 :rolleyes: . Malan...weird and eccentric...he'll be around for the drama. The older guy who put his model in the beaded basket hat...umm...odd! Everyone else right now is a blurr...

Ha! I just wanted to rip open Robert's shirt. Goodness! But I have to agree with Jay in that it's quite a blur at the moment. I think it may be a few more episodes before we get a good idea as to who to watch. Otherwise, I'm glad we're back on the air! :D
 
Robert will definitely be my obsession for this season.
I can't believe that we have to wait an entire WEEK for the next episode.

Ditto, Robert's very cute! .. and when he was fanning himself with his shirt partly open!! aye! soo cute!

The Coat!! I was very impressed with that coat and Robert's dress but that coat was fab. So far I like Architect Lady, Robert, Pageant Queen and the coffee filter guy. I just know I'm gonna see that coffee filter dress on some queen at the Super Sunday Show this weekend! hahaha!! Loved It! Workitout gurl work it out! I liked Angela's dress w/flowers and Katherine's long coat made out of the bed.

I'm not too impressed with Milan Batton (or whatever), and Mens wear guy Keith, Bradley (he had feathers come out of his garment on the runway), Jeffery (I'm a Santino wannabee) and Uli (not yet).

all n all... I thought the pre show and first show were real good.
 
So are we in agreement? Robert is the guy we want to strip naked and have our way with? ;)

and I also agree about your take on Heidi...she's just so cold...maybe it's the staunch German in her (pc-wise, can I get away with a generalization like that since I have some German heritage?). You'd think after 2 seasons of this she'd lighten up a bit...after all...it's just fashion! ;)

early impressions..

angela... very granola, avg
alsion...cute, some talent, needs to push more
bonnie... no real personality, liked the dress, but the boobs didnt fit
brad...made no impression on me..dress was ehh
jeff...definetly new santino, after he calms donw a little, hell be talented
katherin...hated the dress, liked the coat...seemed fun in the bio vid
kayne... nice dress, glad it wasnt too 'fabulous'
keith...the dress was nice, but not inovative, but hes a looker
laura...well presented, ok clothes, but a bit too o la la/fancy..
malan...nice accent, liked the top, not the bottom
michael...didnt get a sense of his personality, but loved the dress, only one who didnt use real fabric
robert...shorter than i thought, but definetly measures up, talent wise...
stacey...impressive resume, but not really for the show, good to get rid of her quickly
uli...nice dress, seems really fun.. and you know that her and heidi are going to hit it off
vincent...the hat?! eh, the dress overall, not good, (the pockets)

dan, you shouldve been here.. had a big pr premiere party

So far I'm liking this season better than last season.

Robert and Keith are the hottest guys in the competition. I think I also have a thing for Jefferey, but it seems like he might be the resident asshole. I'm pretty sure of it.

I'm wondering if immunity will be a regular thing, because it'll change the game

no way.. do you remember the designers last time?... i think these, overall are more talented, but lack in personality

at least theres more than one good looking guy... last time, everyone was fighting for dan

im guessing the immunity thing will be more like season 1, were its normal, but not necessarily everytime..

Hell Yes!!! :sex: When he opened his shirt I did a double take to make sure I saw it correctly. He's my early fav and hope that he stays til the end.
 
I hate Malan.

It's very surprising that no one really mentioned Kayne yet. He was my favorite. Not the BEST designer, but not bad. And he's very cute, in my opinion.

Robert isn't so bad either.

I can't wait for Vincent to be knocked... I hated his personality, voice, design, everything. I feel so bad for his model. He made her look like she went to Hobby Lobby for her outfit!!!

I have to disagree. I think Heidi is becoming a much better host as the show progresses. Last night you could already tell that during the judging she has a lot more input. AND what I liked most was when the bottom two designers were left on the stage, what Heidi was telling them about what they did wrong was actually being said in the moment. There was none of that awful dubbing.
 
You guys should check out the interviews with the contestants at bravotv.com. Keith's is funny.

My take so far.........Malan....this guy reminds me of a Tim Burton creation or a long lost Addam's family member....CREEPY but Interesting; like a caricature. And that evil laugh.... MUH WAHAHA!

Laura...what a class act! I think her coat should've won!
Keith's dress was kinda BLAH! He somewhat reminds me of Greg Kinnear but seems like an arrogant S.O.B.!

Alison is beautiful! She reminds me of a mod girl from the 60's like Twiggy except she looks like she keeps her food down! ;)

Jeffrey.....FREAKS me out with that neck tattoo that makes his neck look freakishly out of portion with his head! With that ugly ass creation he should've been out the door. But like Santino they'll keep him around for good t.v.!

All in all...should be interesting! :=D: (!)
