Project Runway 4

I really can not stand Ricky and he should have been gone weeks ago. His denim outfit was cute but he should have already been elimanated and not there to win.

I wish Victoria was not booted off but...oh well.

My top three are:
Christian
Rami
Sweet P

I miss Kit as well and I don't think Jillian has enough personality to make it too much further. After all it is a tv show and they do need some sort of drama...

Nice Top 3, those are my picks too. Jillian might make my list if Sweet P doesn't bring the goods like she did last week(hope she can)

Chris seems like a cheery likable guy, but he's just kinda...there

And I really liked Kit too

I agree with everything you said, except about Sweet P.

Yes, she didn't do well at all in the first few challenges.

But I though hers was the prettiest prom gown (and it fit and suited the girl perfectly)

In the avant garde challenge, her ready-to-wear design was wonderful.

And her denim dress, I thought, deserved to win. Women on other message boards raved about it and said they'd buy it in a minute. (Not so much Christian's design, which they admired, but said could be worn only by a size 0.)

She has difficulty realizing her concepts, but once she's on the right track, she really knows what she's doing.

I'm not expecting her in the final three, but she clearly has talent.

I think it's a rather unfair season there are a LOT of challenges that they're only given a day and in past seasons they were given two days to complete something and sweet P doesnt seem to be coping well with the time restraints and i HATE when Rami wouldn't listen to her ideas.

I think it's also fair to the models this season because they've had a lot of substiutions:
-High School girls
-Men
-Everyday women

a lot of the time the models leave the show when they weren't even there to showcase their own talents.

And Doughboy I think it is unfair if Rami wins; the show was created to discover the next up and coming designer. Rami has celebrity clients; he dresses socialites he isn't hurting to be "discovered"and he isn't 'up and coming'

It'd be like having Tom Ford come in as a contestant.

As for the judges credentials. Michael Kors isn't exactly innovative his ranges tend to be "blah" and if he were on that runway Nina Garcia wouldn't be impressed. "where is the innovation?"

Another judge I had a problem with was I think Season 1 when there was some "fashion consultant' from Ebay

EBAY?! Since when is an auction website one of the leading voices of fashion? I think it's great when they have other designers on the panel, but I'd like to see them giving more advice to the contestants.

My one last complaint is that Tim comes in really late in the game to give advice especially when they're almost done and have like 2 hrs at the end of their One day to get things done and says "you should change that" or "thats the wrong direction".....he needs to come in earlier and give advice because its hurting the contestants.

And I agree about Christian; that he always designs for size 0...its like he's dressing himself

Yes he is & I actually agreed with the judges this time. It was more or less a bathing suit (thats been done many a time before) with some type of shawl/throw over it

Did Ricky really think that it was an original look or that they looked good together?

Even though Ricky's outfit was well made it doesn't fit the theme of the challenge. He just went with the whole "Latina Vibe" and forgot the whole costume aspect of the challenge.

I thought Sweet P's outfit was horrendous but she tried to impress the overly tacky client.
Chris finally won something. I thought his design was awesome, it's very his style.

I like Jillian too.

i think christian should have won. his design had more to it and had amazing detail. and he was out of his element and still did something awesome.

i think this was right up chris' alley. his background has always been costumes.

i actually wanted sweet p to go home. she annoyed me this challenge. i hated how she was being a snob about it. her of all people has tattoos all over and a monroe piercing at her age. her's actually wasn't that bad. rami should have left. even though ricky's was a bathing suit, rami's was just plain ugly.

the ladies in this challenge had amazing bodies. some of them were a little extra muscular. but they looked a lot better than the skinny models that they tell us are beautiful.

It was a tough choice between Rami's and Ricky's oufits for worst costume, but in the end I agreed with the judges on best and worst.

God I am very worried about who the final three is going to be. As of right now, I have to say Christian, Chris, and ... I don't know who else would be good. If we have Rami, you know we are going to have draped dress out of the ass. Sweet P would not be good I don't think. Jillian is good but not great.

Thank god Ricky is gone. Completely missed the objective of the challenge. It was a bathing suit! Won't have to deal with his crying anymore.

I'm so glad ricky is gone! Did anyone else have a problem with his hat collection, which consisted of only about 3 hats, and he wore each one during every show? He should have left a long time ago.

Christian is obviously the best, I think. He's been the most consistent throughout the entire competition, and despite his sometime 'arrogant' and 'bitchy' attitude, he's very likable because he is often telling the truth.

I really like Jillian too. I enjoy her quiet demeanor. Even though her designs haven't been as WOW as Christian's, I think she has also been consistent. I would like to see here in the final three, and I hope she can find something after this.

Chris's costume was hot. I'm glad he won.

I do think Christian is the most talented, and, if he were older and had already paid his dues, maybe his attitude wouldn't be so detrimental to his future. But no design house is going to put up with it at this point.

One also wonders if all he would show at Bryant Park are fitted jackets.

I think Jillian could make it to the final 3 she's consistently had good work and I dont think the judges have ever said "you missed the mark" she's the only left that's never been in the position to be 'out'.

I didnt think Sweet P's was THAT bad...the whole "i have a cloak" is a horrible gimmick.

Christians was the SAME frickin jacket he's done 4 or 5 times. Tight sleeves, tight waist, big poofy shoulers. She looked more like a hooker than a wrestler. And he's cocky...he doesn't know everything...he has talent but you need more than that to make it as a designer.

Ricky should've gone home a long time ago. His outfit looked like Wendi's bathing suit from Season 1.

Rami's...ugh when he said the word "drape" i thought for sure he was going to go home. You cannot drape everything.

Chris is hanging by a thread. He had the best outfit but the challenge was geared toward what he's used to doing.

oh i did lol thats b/c it was like 2 weeks ago.

I used to watch wrestling and Christian's outfit wouldn't fly on that show. Everyone else was spandex his was leather and lace..which will rip easily...i think you could see boob through the lace and Black on black is like "lets dress her in black because she's black"

Chris' outfit reminded me of Chyna's outfit in the bust.

Sweet P's client was an airhead "i want glitter and rhinestones and feathers and a coat so people wont know i'm in something slutty"

If opening a coat is your thing...you need a new thing.

Chris' client had a cool kiss thing going on.

My concern is that ONCE AGAIN the Project Runway models get screwed over.

So much for "models this is also a contest for you" its more like "models goodbye"

Yeah I agree with everyone about the models, they are really getting screwed this year. I think that they ought to change it next year. Just have the models available, don't make it a competition. Not much they can do to win.

As far as the judges go ....It's all in the eye of the beholder and personal taste. We all get dressed in the mornings and pick our clothes for the day. What we choose may look fine to us but to others may look like shit!!! I have seen very little for the everyday person on the show. You constantly hear the frase ( its not what the average woman would want to wear) lol....I guess not as im sure the average woman wouldnt wear garments made from candy wrappers or trash from a dump or other stupid stuff. All the judges are doing is reflecting thier own personal feelings of the garment....as we all do ....because its personal taste. I think the judges should stick to judging how the garment is sewn the fabrics and how its modeled. Everything else is ones own personal taste.

^^Yes, Nina is the bitch from hell, but her comments are always the most lucid and accurate of any of the judges.

^^Yes, Nina is the bitch from hell, but her comments are always the most lucid and accurate of any of the judges.

That's because she is the Fashion Director at Elle. She is a professional and has achieved a high level of success in her field. So has Michael Kors. We can disagree with their opinions and personality, but they are not just making "subjective" judgments. They are fashion professionals.

Heidi Klum, on the other hand, is a dumb model.

^^I'm well aware of who she is. And she's obviously well qualified for her position.

Michael Kors may understand what he's saying, but often I don't. Many of his comments are far too spacey. And he often contradicts one week what he's said on another. It's probably because he's a designer and thinks abstractly.

The woman from Levi's was quite articulate and on the money.

There was an Italian designer on a few weeks ago and he made no sense at all (and it wasn't the ESL factor either.)

Chris should not only have won the challenge, he should have been given an extra prize. His design looked like it could have been Versace.

I like Christian and Chris best, and don't really have a preference for third place. But probably not Sweet P....

I do not share to appreciation for Chris. I don't dislike him or his designs but i think he is the least talented along with Sweet P. I also don't like the idea of him making it to the end because he was supposed to be out long ago and is only there because unfortunately jack got sick.

Final 5? (Might Contain Spoilers)

[ Spoilers? ]

I went to their site and it seems like there's 5 finalists.
Sweet P, Chris, Jillian, Rami, and ofcourse Christian.

- Chris' designs are gothic and costumy and made of what looks like velvet. My least favorite so far.

- Sweet P's designs are ok but I don't like the colors of her outfit.

- Jillian's designs are futuristic but they look chic and expensive. They look well made.

- Rami's designs are incredibly detailed and look so elegant. His gowns are stunning and you can tell it took a lot of time to finish. As usual his addiction to draping and asymmetry is there.

- Christian's design are as usual fabulous. Ruffle galore, only black and sand colors. His obsession to Poofy shoulders, skinny limbs are clear.
